https://www.decathlon.co.uk/p/bike-grease-tube-red/_/R-p-341620?mc=8751269 thats the grease i use on 10 scale models, they keep changing the packaging (it used to say teflon grease on it) , 0 problems with that and its only 8 scale ones that you have to worry about diff oil 🙂

i use push bike grease in all my 10 scale models and havent had a problem yet, i only use diff oil in 8 scales ones 🙂

got 3 thunder tigers in the attic, one is a drifter that was barely used and the other 2 are a xxt and a xxb my first brushless ones, just a pity i cant get spares for them any more and the xxt is part hyper now, i had a load of hyper mini st parts and a lot of time on my hand and bodged it into living again before i chucked it in the attic, also have a ishima rave nitro and that is never getting converted to leccy, it reminds me of my glory days of good nitro fun as it has a less screechy engine and more of a grunty sounding one 🙂

gonna suggest a different one that will not dissapoint for 400 think all u would need is some 4s batteries and a charger. https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/hobao-hyper-vs-1-8-rtr-buggy-150a-esc-red-439894 that is a cracking buggy for the money and parts are cheap plus 8 scale and has loads of power 🙂 notice the terrain and how their been driven plus mine snapped a boulder in half 😛 lmao

dad and i had a fair share of hpi cars years ago but after their financial difficuiltys and cheaper cars on the market like hobao hypers etc we kinda stopped buying them as hpi still seem to think they can get away with very high prices in todays market after their comeback 😞 we had brilliant fun with the mt2 trucks and savage and trophy truggy all nitro back in the day, edit : even had a hpi brama b but sold it and the guy some how managed to snap the chassis in half....... 🙂 -
i more or less hoard them or in the case of 2 kyosho dbx nitro buggies i completely stripped apart for screws etc and made use of their chassis to cow boy reinforcements for some of my more loved ones 🙂

just make sure you have somewhere away from houses to run a nitro, biggest problem with nitro is the sheer noise they make 🙂

replaced the steam deck 256gb drive for a 1tb one earlier and some one has bought a 2tb one that i need to fit as well now lol

i need a new case as this one has seen 2 mother boards and 3 cpu's and 4 graphics cards, wonder if i should go to am5 as well , i have a 5700x ryzen with a 65 watt tdp 🙂

woot it survived prime 95 on both cpu and memory 🙂 am5 chips will get hot as hell like 95c per core, dads one kepts consistant boost speeds on that and no game will ever make a cpu work like that 🙂 https://www.pcgamesn.com/amd/ryzen-7000-temperatures my am4 chip worries me if it hits 65 i have a am4 5700x with tdp of 65 the same as my old 3600, am4 has served me well but im getting tempted with dads new one 🙂

we started to build it earlier and the last of the parts should be here tomorrow 🙂 heres a pic of his old one, the case was about 30 quid and is extremely old now for the shiny new one 🙂 woot motherboard and cpu installed ryzen 7000x and the corsair vengeance 6000 is installed too. woot heatsink installed, thats the easiest heat sink install ever as am5 boards seem to have the back bracket already installed as stock . the start of the annoying fiddly wires for motherboard headers 😛 yay im nearly as excited as him lol

heres mine in a old case thats had several motherboards through it 🙂
all the cables down the side are network cables from a switch for consoles as i hate wifi for gaming and i also think i have more leds than the christmas tree downstairs 🙂

steam deck is a beast, valve sell them at a loss i think, its a magicical device that kicks ass at emulation and plays new pc games.

good news about elsa but less good news about her brother
elsa is recovering awesome and is back to her normal self she just needs her fur to grow back in from where she was shaved
i noticed gizmo curled up in front of my room door earlier, nothing unusual in that apart from he seemed extremely docile, usually hes pawing at my door meowing to get in, a few hours passed off me passing him coming out room etc and thought something might be up with him.
i picked him up and put him on the windowsill and he just lied there streatched out instead of his usual getting up, he would have fell down if i hadn't of supported him, took him through to dads room and put him on the bed saying theres something wrong with gizmo.
he ended up trying to walk and kept falling over, seemed to be mostly focused on one leg at the back but the other back one was also seeming to give him trouble.
ten mins later he was in the car going to a pdsa vet for a out of hours appointment as our local vet was shut, they ran bloods and couldnt seem to find any thing and they dont think hes broken any thing, only thing they noticed was his bladder was pretty full, so were to take him back there the morn if he hasnt done a pee by noon.
they gave him a pain killer as well which seems to have helped a bit and hes eating and not throwing up at all, just hoping its nothing serious, he done a poop earlier but no pee
hopefully he pee's soon and then we can take him to our proper vet on monday and find out what is going on with the poor guy.copy paste from a thread i made on ocuk.- Show previous comments 4 more

Well took him to vet earlier this evening and he was thoroughly examined and still cant find what caused it
We did have a vase of Carnations on table in living room and he did chew/eat some and we have since found they are toxic to cats but not causing symptoms he had . needless to say Carnations no longer in house
The plan was to keep him quiet in livingroom for couple of days but he decided its not happening and was wall of death about the house with his sister
So i guess thats him fully recovered lol
when vet lifted him onto scales she said ohh your a big boy 5.65KG
