just fitted some lights to the grass hopper 2 🙂

put some lights on the dt-03 so i can see it in the dark 🙂 then i thought i would give the dt-02 some love and put in a brand new max 10 system 4000kv.

now has lights and i stuck in a old 3900kv brushless system 🙂

i was silly and made my konghead silly but more fun and insane by putting in a old brushless system with a 3900kv motor lol one handed driving so didnt get to full speed. edit : once dads over his cold ill get a proper video of it running that brushless set up, it is doing silly stuff but handling pretty well, definatly more advanced than a lunch box in design and can do wheeleys etc if i make it, i noticed theres a wheely bar on a sprue that the manual says is unused for the kong head instead of the back bumper i think, might be time to use it lol oh and the kong head survived and was a tense but very enjoyable ride, i scraped some paint of one of the chrome exhausts but that is all 🙂

fitted new wheels and tires to the hyper st. then i added some lights to the tamiya ta04-s and the corally triton 🙂 now i can see them on dark winter nights 🙂

as well as my green hoppy that dad posted i have a grasshopper 2 as well 🙂

last night i fitted some basic lights to the kong head 🙂

cheers guys i used to always get dad to do my shells but with the dt03 and kong i done them all my self lol, im getting more confident at cutting and painting shells now 🙂 some parts could of been done better but im happy with it 🙂 tamiya metallic red then unmasked the silver bits and backed it all in silver 🙂 wonder if i should get a trailer lol oh vroom vroom

new servo for the st came earlier from wheel spin, bit pricey and most i have ever spent on one around 70 quid with shipping but i feel the hyper st deserves a good one lol edit : the st has a etronix 21.8 kg servo in it so when i take it out i can add that to the konghead for 4wd steering as the kong head currently has a 21.8kg servo, i just need to finish the kong head and see how it handles on 2ws before i add the other one that will be freed up after i put this beast in the st 🙂

cheers bud it is working awesome now and im thinking of my first sensored motor as theres a sensor slot on that esc 🙂

i had a headache trying to work out how to callibrate a etronix photon 150 amp 8 scale esc, i had only forwards and no reverse or brake and after much googling with very little info on the esc it self i had a epiphany, why not try callibration for other smaller 10 scale esc's that are etronix as well. low and behold i found this link https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1035303/Ftx-Carnage.html?page=6#manual i followed the throttle callibration range guide for a carnage different esc but still etronix and it worked and gave me reverse and brake on my hyper st on the 150 amp photon 🙂 just thought i would post this as i had a hard time finding any info on it and i was starting to think it was faulty lol hopefully i save some one a few headaches 🙂 deffo not faulty lol
