im still relearning and learning new things from dad and the internet after stopping for about 20 years , such a chilled hobby and when time is closing in its almost like gambling , one more cast one more cast this will be the one lol a local shop is closing down and has every thing cept for bait on 50% off so dad picked me up and him self some wee fox rage spinning reels and today i spent 32 quid and got a slightly bigger leeda spinning reel and a shakespeare telescopic spinning rod 20-50 gram casting weight that i can easy strap to my bike and have a go on canals or other random local places and mix up 2 hobbies 🙂 they had a abu garcia from 200 to 99 quid a wee small multiplier that tempted me but i snapped myself out the temptation 😛

yeh the sheer noise of nitro more hassle maintenance has led to leccy dominating. i even got complained at for using a hyper vse on 4s outside the house as the karen neighbour thought the whole street should be silent on a lovely hot afternoon, coz she was working and had her window open..... she wasnt happy when i pointed out lawnmowers that i had been hearing all day are a lot louder and went "yeh but" but what? go away karen 😛

lol aye about 1000 hours fishing then i catch 2 in a row lol

yay i finally caught a fish yesterday a nice 2 pound odd rainbow trout (on power bait with a float) which i promptly gutted and cooked with some red peppers and onions with a load of butter wrapped in tin foil in the air fryer 🙂 i also caught a little greedy perch that tried to eat a lure half its size lol some pics of yesterday half of the trout i caught on my plate daddy stormbringer, he caught a trout as well 🙂 was a lovely day out and one of my new rods and priest got christened with the trout and my little 7 foot rod i had since i was 5 and dad had when he was 6 caught the perch, the perch got let go 🙂

dad caught fishzilla earlier 🙂 hehe the only fish caught the last 2 days 😛 was a clean hook through its gill cover so its currently talking to its mates about free meals aint all they cracked up to be while swimming about the sea 😛 i literally thought that fish was his bait when the hooks came out the water lol

not catching fish every time i go fishing but losing lures 😛

all that for 20 quid is a steal especially if you can get parts for it 🙂 you could also buy a tamiya tt-01 or 02 kit and transfer all the leccy stuff, the joys of hobby grade models, you could just transfer all the electric stuff straight in if you run out of spares for it or they get hard to get 🙂

looks a kool wee truck, could this be my first ever arrma, do feel pretty satiated with my losi mini b for small scale speed shenanigans but that truck is tempting 🙂

nice radio gear also has another benefit, you can use the same transmitter on multiple cars with all their settings intact etc all you need is a new receiver for a new model and switch between them on the transmitter, the 1080 is a decent esc i have one in my hobao dc1 truck and it hasn't skipped a beat 🙂

it never wheelied unlike lunchie, edit, might of wheelied on first test run and been unstable then u adjusted back suspension for me and it just dipped the back instead of wheelies 🙂

lol aye i think we adjusted the back suspension and it was a bit of a beast after that, it teached me throttle control and the fake lamps on the top didnt last for long lmao

that looks sweet and dual springs wow, i had the tracker https://www.rcscrapyard.net/uk/kyosho-tracker.htm had it metallic blue and black, i loved that truck, it could slightly out run our gold tub rc10 with the 550 motor but longer acceleration to hit that speed 🙂

think hpi are still asking premium prices while the the company is or was in trouble, i loved the hpi mt2 and the savage 🙂
