You know i thought i recognised the truck in your avatar .Apart from the motor going pop is it still going ok?You know it probably was a united rc motor for some reason i had graupner in my head.I think i have been reading to many forums .What motor did you put in it and did you go for the bigger battery?Like i said when i sold it to you,if i had kept it i would of got a 1400 battery and with that united motor it would of realy flew .

Well i am still alive rofl .I took it outside yesterday evening into the street and its deffinatley faster with the lipo.It was wheelspinning everywhere and drifting realy nicely but the road was damp .The 1100 ni-mh pack i used was old and had been sitting for about 8 months so it may not be giving a fair comparison.It will be interesting to compare the lipo with the 1600 ni-mh.Matt i sold rc18mt about a year ago and i have trouble remembering yesterday.Again i blame the Stella .No seriously i think the rc18 handled better and i had a graupner 300 motor in it so it realy did fly even with stock battery.Rustybasher mite be able to give a better judgement on the handleing as the monster baja tyres are taller than the mini lst2 ones.In the dry and on concrete you can tell my one is going to roll very easily.Thats what the guy said about his one in the thread below this one aswell.

Hi mate your truck is looking good .Got to agree that the Raminator body does look good with the chrome wheels.I havent ran mine yet with the lipo and have used the normal 1100 ni-mh pack.I have just been to Homebase and bought a plug adapter for the lipo charger and i have it on charge now.I am looking forward to seeing the difference between the lipo and Ni-mh pack.It's been on charge for nearly an hour but not sure how long it will take to charge.I am going to go for the carbon chassi aswell and i was originaly going to go brushless but think i am going to stay brushed now.Just waiting to see how Rustybasher gets on with the motors he is going to fit .

That looks good.With 2 of them and a 1600 battery it should fly.Imite have to get some myself .

I go to blue anchor just down the road from Minehead.Blue Anchor is SO quiet compared to London.I hated it at first but now i am used to it i love it. .I was in somerset last september for 2 weeks and went to brean sands.I was hoping to run my baja 5b there but they had a rc plane day there so thought i better not run it.The guy's flying the planes were so impressive.Realy unbelivable to watch

I had to hide the mini lst baja box and i had better make sure i am in when the e-maxx is delivered so i can get it out of the way quickly .I am still going to hop up the lst tho as its great for running here but the e-maxx will be for on holiday in Somerset

I paid for it on my debit card so better hide the wage slip and i was off work sick for a month so wont have any overtime to cover me .If it comes down to it i will blame the Stella rofl

Yep they are danderous things.I had 2 expand while charging and took the heli back to the shop and told them to give my money back as i want nothing to do with them things .I was tempted to get a plug to charge my lipo but read in a mag today that a good idea is to get 2 plastic bags with sand in am put 1 under the battery and 1 on top so if it goes bang the plastic bag will melt and the sand will put the fire out!!!!! .Ni-mh's for me and going to sell off most of my nitro's so i can go electric but not lipo.I have just ordered a new e-maxx to go with my mini lst baja.I am going to be in big,big trouble

Havent had the chance.I had got pnewmonia 2 weeks before christmas and couldnt go out of the house for a month .Now i am back at work and having to do overtime to make up for the bonus i lost and the overtime i lost for being off sick.As soon as i get a bitmore time i will give it a run.While i was stuck indoors tho i disscovered that the shocks are the same size as t maxx shocks and as the wheel hexes are 14mil there should be some good tyres avaliable for it.Not monster truck size as they will be 2 big but the truggy sized tyres on 14mil hex wheels should be ok.The Traxxas talon 2.8's that i have on my jato are around the exact same size as the gt10's tyres so i just have to get the jato hexes to fit the gt10 and then get another set of jato hexes and rear wheels and tyres and it should be good to go

I got one for christmas its a great looking little truck.I havent run mine yet but maxbashing tested it and said it was very tough and would highly recomend it for a newbie or for someone who just wants a tough truck to bash.One of the other uk mags tested it this month aswell and they were very impressed .

It will be good to know if the motor fits ok.I had a quick look on www.one18th.com at the mini lst motor section and god talk about confuse yourself,everyone has a different opinion .Some say the insanes are great,some say they arnt.Loads say brushless but then loads have had problems with them.I was originaly thinking about going brushless but deffinatley staying brushed now.From what it sounds like if you go brushless you realy want to use lipo batteries and i am not to keen on them.Nearly had 2 blow up a couple of years ago with a heli i had so iwill stay with the ni-mh's .

Hi i have a brand new ttr mta-4 that is brand new but have thown the box away.Its orange and has proline big joes and velocity 40 series wheels and tyres plus the originals.Like i say its brand new and never been started and i am trying to sell it because i have to many cars and need a bit of room.I am after £200 and it would be easier to collect or if not to far away i could deliver it.I will post if i have to but god knows how much it will cost as this is a big truck

I mite just be lucky on the tax stuff as i have never been charged on anything i have bought abroad.I mite of just tempted fait tho .That motor looks good.Will they deffinatley fit in the lst?I think the mini t and rc18 have smaller canned motors than the lst.The lst's are 370's and i think the others are 280's or thereabouts?I like the red ali chassi but i dont bash to hard so i think i will take a chance on the carbon .I mite gor some different springs.Especialy on the front.It feels very soft.

Same here .I got my jp3 and a few other hellfire parts from hop me and didnt get charged any tax.When i order my lst stuff i will go for a battery,carbon chassi and if i can decide what motors to go for i will get them aswell

The Nitrage that maxbashing tested blew its gearbox and they wrent very impressed with it.I have a Hellfire rtr and love it but am upgradeing to ss standard.The thing i like best about the Hellfire is the look.To me it looks evil .Not a reason to buy one i know but it worked for me

Rite now i am going to sound stupid as i am a nitro and petrol guy and dont know much(read nothing)about electrics .What is the difference between a mah battery and a ni-mh battery?The one you mention matrix is a 1400mah?

I dont have a link to the battery as i only saw it in a mag at work today so havent had a chance to find a shop that has them yet.The battery is a Team Orion,Supercharge 1600 7.2v 4x2 and the item number is ORI13024 but thats from a u.s mag so the part number may not be the same over here.I will try to track one down over here if i have any luck i will let you know .

The Raminator looks good but it doesnt come with the upgraded diffs,ali shocks or the electrics that the mini lst2 or the monster baja come with as standard.The diffs on the original mini lst were ment to be a problem and they are what the Raminator comes with and it isnt that much cheaper.

Looks very nice mate .I got my mini monster baja yesterday but dont have a plug adapter to charge the lipo .I put a 1100 battery in amd was impressed and i have now seen a 1600 7.2v one.I am thinking about getting the insane motors to go with the 1600 battery .One thing i mustsay i think that Losi box these things up realy nice.
