Hi i fitted my hpi 4.6HO to my lightning 2 sport yesterday.It has standard gearing at the moment but was wandering if changeing the gearing would be worth it.I dont want to loose to much acceleration but would like some gearing to get some good top speed and get the most out of the engine and jp3 pipe.I dont know what size the spur is but the clutch belll is a 13 tooth.Would going up to a 14 tooth make a difference?Thanks.

The factory settings are 1 and a half turns out on the high speed and 1 and quauter out on low speed.The high speed is the one on the left as you look at it and the low to the right of it.I would put the needles to this just incase your mate messed with them without saying so.

I would put it back to factory settings and try that if you already havent?

I have just fitted an hpi 4.6ho and jp3 to mine .I have only ran it up and down the road so far so will see how it holds up soon .

If you do then let me know.£100 to anyone else but £50 to you as you bought my rc18mt off of me and didnt muck me about :good:It has no transmitter tho and batteries as i need the batteries for my maxx.

Hi i have a brand new jp3 that i was going to fit onto my Hellfire but was thinking that maybe it would give my new lightning 2 sport a boost as i know the HB 26 isnt the best performance.Has anyone tryed this combo?Thanks.

From what i have read on alot of forums is that the jp3 is ment to run great with the 4.6HO.I have just bought one but have yet to run it yet but it is ment to be way better than stock

Hope you got a good deal on it as the one i was selling was brand new with ugraded shocks,Meilke pipe but minus electrics and a wheel hex.Even 50 quid is to much for some people .

Hi like it says above i have a few cars for sale.I have a E-Zilla minus transmitter £100 + postage.A schumacher havoc with sts28 motor fitted minus transmiter and reciever £120 + postage.Brand new MTA4 minus box £200.HPI savage without motor but with lst shock conversion and carbon tvp's and more.Difficult one this?MT2 roller,almost £60 + postage.I cant write everything about each truck here as it will take to long .

I bet it realy fly's now and am glad you were pleased with it.Some of the stuff i have bought secondhand has been total s...t when it has turned up.I traded a nearly brand new hopped up rascal for a mini lst last year and it blew the diffs in 5 mins.Its been sitting in a box in the shed ever since .Oh well atleast i will have some spares for my new one if i need them .With the new E-Maxx on its way to me i had better hurry up and sell some more trucks
