Hi i am tempted by the savage xl.I already have a savave thet has a lcg chassi and stuff but i like the look of the xl.Now i could buy the xl chassi and 5.9 motor and 3 speed gearbox but this wont be alot cheaper than just buying a complete xl.I think the xl with some 40 series prolines would be a great bashing truck.What do you reckon?Should i buy one?

Do you mean the baja ss?If so then yes it comes with both the square can and tuned pipe,

The stock square pipe on the baja isnt to loud but the hpi tuned pipe is very loud.The RD Logics pipe is prity quiet tho and improves performance over the stock can and the hpi tuned pipe.

Got to agree.The ribbed pipe is stupid loud and this pipe is quiet compared to the ribbed one.The ribbed pipe is boredering on hpi baja noise.

Hi i have a k4.6ho in my lightning buggy and a jp3 pipe which works very well with it so i would recomend one of them .You wont get a new one for that but keep an eye out for a secondhand one.

Nice little review.I have a mini monster baja and i am tempted to get a mini lst2 aswell for when my nephew comes over from australia.I am not to keen on him useing lipo so i am thinking of getting a couple of those battery packs you lnk to.How do they compare speed wise compared to the battery that comes with the mini lst2?

Hi i got myself a crt.5 rtr .I have to say that tis is a realy nice bit of kit.It is a perfectly shrunk truggy.I havent run it yet as i dont have any 20% fuel,only 30% which is to much for the little 12.I know i havent run it yet but i know i will want a quicker motor.I am not sure weather to go for a race tuned 12 or an os18tz .In videos i have seen these little things realy fly with one of these motors fitted.I am not to keen on the little wheels tho so i went down the shed and got my old jato rear wheels and tyres and they fit perfectly and improve ground clearance and in my opinion look alot better.I have another set on order for the front.So i know i havent run it yet but build quality wise it is very nice and loads of hopups avaliable for it.There is a newer version coming out soon aswell that will come with pivot ball front suspension set up .

Hi i bought a set of the above for my crt.5 but they are just way to big(going to run jato wheels and tyres instead).They are brand new and in the packs never opened.You will need foams as they dont come with them.I thought they did but dont.

Thanks Turner boy.I was just simply going way to fast and a car came around the bend and i locked the front.Been round that bend a million times before but i suppose saturday just wasnt my day .I went for the crt.5 in the end.I wont be useing it in long grass and i have an old mt2 in the shed and the difference between the new and old one isnt realy enough to make me get another but while i was down there i did dig out my hellfire to clean it up.It needs an engine so i will have to make a choice of what engine to get for it.I am thinking Axial 32 or Picco 28 monster

Thanks mate.I am not to bad concidering.I have no skin on my left forearm and stitches in the elbow.A big hole in the left side of my body that they cant stich.Not alot of my skin on my right forearm and a gash and graze on my knee and a whopping big bruise on my hip but if i had hit a car while slideing i would of been alot worse.
