  1. I charge a 900mah nimh at 0.9a.Is that correct?

      I can tell you that every couple three to 6 charges you can run a very slow trickle charge at 0.09 a
      BUT it will take around 10-12hrs to charge this is called a trickle charge ( usually the cheap chargers you get with your machine are trickle chargers and take around 8hrs to top the battery up.

      Nimh batterys have changed over the years and nearlly all these days can be quick charged at the given c Rate ( C rate is the mah of a battery aka your battery is 900mah so a 0.9 to 1.0a charge is fine, just do the warmth test as its charging)
