Had a little test drive in the garden with the Hyper ST today. Looks like I may have forgotten to threadlock a few things lol..
I also still need to glue the tyres to the rims and I'll probably gorilla tape/belt them as well.
So far so good. More intensive test driving to come very soon 🙂 🙂

Does anyone else have other hobbies/things that they're into that cost a lot? (especially when you let yourself off the leash)
Collecting Masterpiece Transformers can be punchy as hell lol
I'm still getting over coming back from TFNation - Europes biggest Transformers conversation (apparently)

@Spunkymunky88 Im a massive Wrestling fan too. My friends go to Mania every year but it never lines up with my holidays/plans =/ Theyre gutted that 41 is Vegas, but the dates changed. They work in retail and arent allowed time off in Easter so 41 will be the first one they miss since LockDown Performance Centre days =/
Massive respect to you getting in the ring. Its a tough old gig. A lad I used to work with does it and appears pretty successful tbh, but its a tough tough world. Respect!
I just cant get into AEW. Ive tried and I just cant. Other than MJF & Kenny Omega I cant relate to any of it, as good as the talent is.

Cordless power tools; rotary hammer, combi and impact drivers. Yes, I need these for work, Yes, spare machines are necessary to keep me working when a machine suffers a failure. However, ten rotary hammer drills of various sizes, three combi drills and five impact drivers is probably overkill. They've become a side Hobby, including watching multiple review channels, I love my tools and what they can do.
Cheers.

Urgh, very close to finishing my RC but life keeps getting in the way!
I did manage a very small test run in the garden. The car didn't explode so that's a win :)

Finally getting my butt into gear and getting my brushless Hyper ST build finished 🙂
-
Receiver boxes for 1/8 scale..
Trying to find one I like for my Hyper ST build is more difficult than I thought it would be 😕
-
All I need to finish my ST Pro brushless build is...
A decent lipo charger, lipo batteries, mod1 pinion, transmitter and reciever, straps to hold the batteries in place.. what else.. possibly a new bodyshell?..
Expensive stuff!

Just about to buy this motor and esc combo for my Hyper ST build.
Are there any alternatives or is the one to go for?

Hyper ST Pro kit, battery tray, and Hyper SS motor mount arriving Monday Woohoo!!!
-
I've done it! I've pre-ordered a Hyper ST Pro kit that I'm going to convert to brushless 🙂
Now, where shall I post the build thread? General, Electric, or buggies/truggies/stadiums?

@mydoddy69 it's a fair question 🙂
I wanted to get into rc again and also wanted a kit to build. I didn't see anything that I liked so went for the Hyper ST Pro. Its not the newest or best out there but it'll do for me, plus the ST is a tank so I know it'll take some serious abuse when its finally up and running 🙂 🙂

Thoughts on the Absima CR3P? Any good or is it just a bit cr3p?

Bought my first bit towards my Hyper ST Pro brushless build 🙂
It was only a battery tray lol and I paid far too much for it but couldn't find it in the UK at all..

Has anyone used RCmodelshopdirect.com? If so, what are they like to deal with?
-
I called them about about a part, was told they had it in stock, and would double check while on the phone, told me they had the part in their hand. I ordered the part, hour or 2 later got an email from the courier company informing me that they are expecting a parcel from them to deliver to me, an hour or 2 later I get an email from RCmodelsdirect, telling me that the part isn't in stock, and that they've ordered it in for me, and they expect to have it in the next 8-12 weeks. Very very hard work to cancel my order

OMG, the Xbox elite controller is rubbish!!!!!!!!

Has anyone got any thoughts on the FTX Colt?
Popped into a model shop on the way home and thought it looked pretty cool (apart from the plastic dogbones)
Just wondered if they were worth a punt?
-
Does anyone still use an Xbox 360? My kids have can't access YouTube on either of their 360's and I just wondered if anyone else had been having problems???

The moment you realise the wheels you've bought are waaaay too big for the RC you've got

Urghhh...
It begins. . . the saga of an eBay buyer that hasn't received their goods (me)
I am genuinely torn.

There is no need to use slow services these days. There are so many options available including signed for stuff that only cost few ££££. E-Bay sellers must be saving enough in postage to write off a few items.
Small sellers or sellers of single items should not take the chance. If E-Bay was tighter about postage abuse, there would be a lot less of this going on.
-
A seller is shootyung themselves in the foot sending any thing through royal mail that isn't traced, as theres little accountability when things go wrong.
Standard royal mail insurance for lost parcels is £20, so thsall the seller will get back off them, eventually
The absolute joke is... Royal mail are roughly twice as expensive as most couriers

Is anyone else having issues when replying to posts if you've previously quoted some text?
I go to reply to a post and it comes up with the text I'd quoted from when I last replied and I can't get rid of it
It could be my phone though as its been utter $H!tE since I updated it...

Bugger!!! Only just remembered that I threw my TX away!!

PS4 or Xbox one???!

Ps4 because it's just as good as Xbox (they play the same games mostly) but Sony didn't try to screw everyone over before launch. It's shows global on opinion of that I think.
I would like to have forza but really believe ms will slowly reactivate those restrictions later on.
Check sales figures for both world wide.
