That suspension is just sublime, poetry in motion.

This guy breaks the rear centre CVD, but doesn't say if it just disassembled itself, couldn't tell if it was actually wrecked on my phone. If it actually broke, probably caused by 6S and a locked rear diff?

Good vid though, really shows the suspension doing its thing.

It was the pin on the shaft by the looks of it. He treats it like he stole it and some of those crashes and rolls were quite hard. No shock really and hard to pin blame on the trucks design. I don't understand running 6S on a scale truck like that. The tyres cant grip properly and it's certainly not scale in appearance.

I didn't think he drove it that hard, certainly not in terms of air-time. He was driving hard over rough terrain though.

I think this is one of those trucks where 5S will be the sweet spot, but that's an ESC change or risk alarms that might drop off. ESC change would be best, Quicrun will allow 5S. :good:

He took lots of big hits directly on the back axle.

Its not scale in appearance? Have you seen these things? They’re brutally fast!

If he's really making 100K+ in profit a year from eBay, he should be happy with that and money from YouTube and not force it down our throats, anyone can live off 100k a year, it's called living within your means.

Not necessarily. £100k to me and you is an insane amount, but people who earn that (and more) it soons becomes normal and you want more. A lad I grew up with is on that a week, im sure he always wants for more. He’s a Premier League footballer btw

This kind of truck in 1:1 scale aren't actually that fast, they're designed to be quick over rough ground.

They aren't designed to have a 200mph top speed.

That's a persons own choice, if they chose to live above there means and end up losing it or getting out of there depths, they absolutely deserve to lose it.

A 7th scale doing 50mph in 1:1? That's a scale speed of 350mph. Correct me if I'm wrong but most Trophy trucks are lucky to get 140mph on tarmac, let alone off road.

His videos are beyond annoying anyway. Not worth even getting worked up about.

But an RC thats going less than 50mph in 2018 is pointless. Its why I never got on with large scale petrol, so damn slow. Im sure you can make DBXl/Baja/5ive hit 50mph+ bit bet its thousands.

Nothings suggesting he is losing it, he is advertising to ensure he doesnt. Just cause youre happy with a £20-30k wage or whatever doesnt mean everyone is. Everyone has different means/outgoings.

That's because you're not into crawling or boating :)

That's a very strange outlook to have, anything below 50 is pointless, but you are entitled to your own opinion.

Scale these days is massive and to be honest, I see few RCs that actually do 50mph off road. I'm sure people think they do but they don't. A stock 5ive or clone will easily keep pace with an 8th scale. It will lose in corners but no less impressive.
