It needs a life line to be honest. Just seems a mine field. We need a wheel bearing fitting but need a mobile mechanic and no one seems to want to touch it 😕

my old man has booked his 05 plate defender in for some work, it was zambizee (spell check) silver and he is going for gun metal with the upgraded face, rock sliders, led light conversion and a service and that’s going to cost him £3500 but it will add the same amount if not more to the value, it’s a td5 with less than 80k on the clock. He’s had it 8 years now and still loves it.

I couldnt own a crawler, it just confuses me so so much. I genuinely dont get the appeal in it.

Yeh trailing/crawling nor everyones cup of tea but i really do enjoy the relaxed driving and walking with them and we all do what we enjoy in the hobby :good:

That's how I felt,really didn't see the appeal.

And then I bought a trx defender and now I like the fact I can be driving solidly for over an hour on 1 battery - not to mention the skill challenges every new obstacle brings.

But as Stormbringers says, we each have our own enjoyment.

But buy a Bromco ( in black) and if you don't like it sell to me at half price 😂

i had a Losi Crawler, really didn’t get on with it. Sold it within days. Was just too slow.

I watch videos of them (your channel, Tomley etc) and I just think why are you (not you personally you know what I mean) purposely trying to get stuck, and get over something? Just go round it, or use speed and jump it lol. Its like I dont get drifting (RC or 1:1), just go round the corner normally? I appreciate both require a skill, perhaps that I dont have, but it seems to be creating a problem that isnt there?

And I dont like my RCs to look realistic, Theyre not supposed to be realistic (to me), theyre radio controlled. Each to their own of course but I find it strange when people put action men in their RCs etc.

But then not everyone see’s the point owning 11 over priced similar Trucks made be a company with questionable business practices? Sooo 🤷🏻‍♂️
