    Traxxas rustler 4x4 brushed

    New from Traxxas is a Brushed version of their Rustler 4×4. The brushed version comes with an XL-5 ESC and a 550 sized 12 turn motor, a good combo for a beginner in the hobby.

    The #67064-4 brushed Rustler 4×4 is priced at $280, while the #67064-1 RTR comes with a 4 amp charger and NiMH battery at $320

    Loving the body on that, why can't other companies make bodies that don't make you regurgitate your breakfast.  However, its a Traxxas, so I can save myself 300 quid (ish).

    I agree, the VXL version is even nicer.  Interesting to see Traxxas selling an ARTR and a RTR.

    It does look fantastic brushed or brushless...

     

    Ideal way to do a silly powered brushless version :whistling:

    good idea though selling without the battery and charger, especially if you have your own.

    nice to see them “trying” to cater for a wider audience.

    Assuming of course there's no 'hidden' differences between the brushed / brushless version - been done before, often.

    It states it’s brushless ready. (Vxl) so maybe same drivetrain as the vxl???

    CD option available as they did with the Slash 4x4?

     

    Not paying Traxxas prices, not supporting Traxxas full stop.
