     Tamiya have announced they are bringing back the Avante 2011 Kit. The Tamiya Avante is a legend in the rc world, this fall you will be able to once again go down to your local hobby shop and buy a brand new one!

    Very nice!  I have to say that looks rather special (in a good way...).  Wonder what the price will be over here?  Can't remember what the last rere retailed for in UK - anybody remember?

    Gulp! But thanks anyway. Do you recall if that is ball park vs when the 2011 ReRe first came out in errr... 2011.  Inflation adjusted perhaps 🤪

    The vanquish is coming in for a rere as well which will probably be a bit cheaper.

    Wow exactly, ...that's a fair chunk of change for that. 

     

    I've always wanted an Avante but I might bide my time for used ones to start popping up once the hype dies down a little.

    I'm inclined to agree.  Already starting to see the odd NIB cropping up, no doubt there'll be a few Vanquish shelfers shaken out too.
