Not sure why but this interests me far more than it should, wonder if there'll be a TLR kit version 🤔

The drag scene is huge in the US, its getting great feedback over there, I think there is a roller too.

Watched the RC Driver vid on this last night, does look good, but you'll need people to race against to make it fun.

I like the blue (street?) version, I have absolutely no where to run one of these but as @supersavagehas already said, you get drawn into it.

now, can you hold it on the line and spin up the back wheels or was that more camera trickery?

Yes, hold wheelie bar and mash the gas. This warms the rubber and gets the traction up.

Needs a video going down santa pod lol. 😄

I am quite interested in this niche of RC, but as was mentioned, you do need a club or somewhat sizeable group to make them actual fun. These are not RCs you can take out by yourself and bash for half an hour. At least not in my opinion.

edit: that said, i'd want a dragster that has A: a line lock and B: the ability to bump it into the lights. I think the traxxas one has an electronic bump box?

edit2: just realised that i know more about drag racing than modern formula one. Goes to show how boring that has become lol.

Yeah, similar to Traxxas Funny Car which they even did a proper timing system.

Bit of a flop here in the UK though, not the market for it.

Losi were really slow getting this to market, a lot of the drag hype in the US has now died down.....

    Nice looking car.

Sad they did not make it 1/7 size like Arrma Infraction and Limitless.

Alot people like speedrunning / dragracing.

Well 1/10 is to smal atleast for me.

Like i said,  sad they did not make it bigger ,  atleast 1/8

Traxxas Funny Car is too Extreme DRAGSTER for me also.

I like these street style cars alot more.

if Losi makes this in 1/7 , or atleast 1/8  i will buy it the same day it comes out.

1/10 is too smal and light weight always  if you ask me

Remember it well, quite fancied it. However, as a one trick pony, you need a group of people to have any fun.

From what I remember, the Traxxas timing system was quite good, well thought out. Still need multiple cars and drivers though.

I do kind of agree as it might be a tad boring at times without someone to drag race against which is the point of these cars.

I was going to buy the Team Associated DR10 drag car around Christmas as a treat for myself but it has been out of stock everywhere I'd looked since before then with expected stock dates that keep getting moved further away everytime it got close to the date.

No idea why HS are struggling to get it??

I bought something else instead now so don't have the funds anyway but think I prefer the Losi tbh if I was going to buy one.

I'm a massive drag racing fan in real life and usually spend a good 5-7 weekends a year at Santa Pod usually pit side working on a sportsman car.

Building a small scale drag car like this is on my list but I'd want to have a few options and I would imagine a kit would suit most fans of racing more than an RTR.

Are these going to be sold over here? I've seen them listed on Amain but haven't seen them on any UK websites yet.
