So we go from clipless body mount back to body posts and pins???

also do Jconcepts, Pro-line know that there's many more pick-up trucks to choose from???

@Gaz! that’s a fair point but isn’t the clipless body system kinda moulded to the body in a way that it won’t transfer to another different body without headaches?

It maybe assumption on my part but it feels like a Traxxas proprietary way to go and if JConcepts/Proline provided their own compatible system it’d add £’s to the body and Traxxas would probably wind up the lawyers again for some kind of craziness😂

I have the proline brutebash body for mine, it works with the oem body mount system, yes it does still come off as easily but i see that gpm make an alloy latch thing which im going to give a try

Yeah typically Xmaxx bodies come able to fit the body locking frame etc.

if it comes to me sourcing another shell (or before i decide to sell), as Wolfie has said, the proline brute body is the one to go for i think…

That’s a bit of a shame that it locks ya into a certain body shape but the clipless thing is cool.

I guess it’s a trade off as many things are.

When i bought mine you only got white in the brute bash, i see now there is a black option too albeit a bit more expensive
