Update the wheel nuts Mr HPI! 

We all know and love the wheel nuts, the hinge pins falling out,  the rear link breaking and the deans connectors. :P

does look nice though, and seems HPI are making a bit of a come back

It'll be good to know spares will still be available!

Always had a soft spot for the savage flux....

 

edit. needs a roll bar hoop/handle thing, esc doesn’t look favourable perched up there.

good to see it back 🙂  ike said some major weak pionts but plenty of hopups great truck on 6s hella fun in XL form got to say !!

Its the hope that kills you!

I'd want to see some sort of tangible UK presence/support and readily available parts before dropping 550 quid on one of these. 

It's nice. But I'd just buy the haboa hyper Mt. Much nicer. 

its looks like its still using the octane style TVP's and gearbox as well. 

Do you reckon theres just a load of brand new pre built Savage Flux’s sat somewhere and every few years they decide to paint a new shell and sell a few of them?

tbh i wish they would have brought out the XL F5.9. that looked pretty cool. If they took a page out of arrmas book, they could have fixed maybe most of the issues from the factory.  An XL SS would have been a nice chance to test that out. 

Let’s all be honest it’s a pian in the backside to work on it’s not been updated to fix any of the weak points they simply stick on a new body and called it done. 20 years ago probably top dog but now it’s a dying dinosaur that needs putting to bed
