It’s an impressive sounding feature list but that pricing is putting into full fat TRX4 territory, surely that’s going to cause them some problems trying to get people to buy one?

Yep! It needs at least £50 knocking off

£500 for essentially a china special is taking the whizz, despite using decent electronics and copying the features of a TRX4.

I do like it, generally, but it needs to be at least £100 cheaper - and not by a company that has barely any parts support in the UK like RGT.

Even £400 is pushing it. Regardless of the spec, FTX will always have that "cheapy brand" reputation. £350 - £370 would be much more reasonable...

And I still wouldn't pay that for an FTX!

They should embrace their low-to-mid-tier market presence and stick with it. After all, it has been serving them very well.

well said, they make some good value cars and should stick to that

    £499 for a ftx.

doesn’t that now make the Traxxas Trx4 look like a real bargain…

also interested why no 1080 esc? The 1040 is ok but the 50% reverse power is as stupid as it was on the Mtronics esc’s back in the day.

£275 These were when Matteo's RC Movies's did the unboxing review via Aliexpress & Asiatee's in January 2022!

Now CML want £499rrp for the FTX? Thats absolutely outrageous and offensive to the FTX customer base.

£299-£350 Absolute tops or the money might just go to Traxxas for a TRX4 Defender etc.

I Have a soft spot for FTX & RGT but this is really pushing the envelope.

Agree 100% I have the FTX Runt of the litter = Kanyon and im very sympathetic towards FTX/RGT rigs from a 'get what you pay for stand point'.

But this is just a none starter at £449-499.  £299-£350 I might have pulled the trigger but for £549 I can have the TRX4 Defender = No Brainer!

Absima have done this trick twice already with the Sherpa & Yucatan, they are made by Yi-Kong, also Banggood rigs, re-badged and doubled the price!

They think we dont notice aswel but guess what!? We do notice.

    .....much much later (french accent),

Pulled the trigger on the YK4083 Bronco this time tho, before Absima get their mitts on it and inflate the price, only way to beat that situation I guess? 🧐
