My money is on a 1.9 Bomber with and/or something with Portal axles

Unimogs have portals, so makes sense to make them for the UMG10 4x4 and 6x6

I'd agree to that but the UMG needed to be a 2.2 with an AR60 replacement. Stick a real mog next to a land rover and the size difference is considerable. I think they'll take an 80 inch tyre where as a faux scale 50 inch is getting a bit daft on 1.9s.

Really need to look into these sort of things. Its weird being on an RC forum and not understanding most of the posts! It might as well be in a foreign language haha

There is some kind of buggy being released, people were raving about it at Axialfest, I also believe it might have been tested at Pro-line By The Fire.

    They're also definitely releasing portals.

Chances are it's both those things.

Well, Capra means goat which doesn't seem to fit too well for portals... Replacement for the moa?

My digging and searches resulted in this:

"portal axle rock buggy shown at Axialfest"

"at Axialfest 19 this past weekend saw the new buggy. It had portals alright. I saw clear headlight too. It reminded me of a cross of a Bomber front with a truggy back"

Portals may be coming to the Bomber update... But the Capra will almost certainly be a tracked vehicle. The graphic tells all...

Agree with you there, graphic definitely implies that it's tracked.

How so? That's a centre tranmission  with either a servo for a 2nd gear or a dig unit. It's already been stated by people who saw it at Axialfest that it's a buggy/truggy.

Well when I was at axialfest I saw axial and proline with the buggy/truggy bit however,  horizon spokesperson confirmed that what they we're debuting (6x6) and previewing (buggy/truggy thing)  we're not the big news they had in store... We all know the bomber is way over due for a refresh... The wraith recently got one... Traxxas has their tracked trx4...  Seems natural that axial/horizon would take it a bit further. Also, a two speed trans with dig is nothing new to announce.

Sorry I was referring to the first promo that .AJ. posted at the start of this thread, the Capra logo appears to be the shape/side profile of a track and then the graphics kind of track around the logo.

Maybe I'm seeing something that's not there, having doubts now. Oh well time will tell.

    Oh great.... More obscure teasers....

I swear.... Rc teasers are becoming a running joke.... Not even 1:1 manufacturers take the mick this much...

Just show me the damn rig so I can put together a worthwhile news article.... I mean... What am I supposed to do with these video's👹

It’s all well and good keep releasing new stuff but spares for the (old???) scx10.2 are still thin on the ground, Martin carries very little so I hope whatever they bring out, make sure spares are plentiful please Axial.

The Horizon Hobby rep who frequents RCCrawler confirmed that the Capra will be made in the same factory as TLR 8ight kits, so will feature TLR quality plastics and tolerances. My main beef with anything Axial I've owned was the terrible plastic quality so this is awesome.
