US MAP is $390 which is £290. Seems high for a brushed model, compared to Associated's offroad vehicles. Shorty battery only is strange too.

I'm guessing a kit or pro roller version of this will be released, it's got spaces for roll bars, adjustable toe straps, adjustable links etc.

Needs a brushless combo. It's all about more power than grip.

Looks cool, but much like most RC’s out at the moment it’s overpriced, £279 with a cheap brushless combo and they would be onto something

Surely that has to be a mistake with the price?  Their DR10 is brushless and £50 cheaper??

You can pretty much imagine that Hoonigan charged a fortune for collaboration and licensing fees and sadly that cost ends up getting washed up on to the customer!

DR10 isn't a licensed body hence the cheaper price.

Maybe it's the additional cost of a second set of links for the 'active rear toe'......... 🤔

Makes the hpi Subaru rally car look like a good deal. 😅 at least that is brushless or nitro.

I think stupar hit the nail on the head. These branded rcs are 50% rc and 50% licensing fee.
