    Arrma mojave 6s BLX 1/7

Looks like someone over at horizon made a gaffe this week....

An early pic of this was accidentally released onto the horizon website yesterday....

Which forced arrma to release this video early... No more info as yet...

Doesn't look like they've joined the "live rear axle" club, other than size, I can't really see what this is bringing to the table that's actually new.

Arrma seem to be releasing too many variables of the same thing; 3S, 4S and 6S of the same cars.

Yes, it's new, but I'd much sooner have an SBR over this.

Folks have been crying out for a large scale slash for a long time so they released the udr and the sbr both sadly imo have been a flop in the bashing scene so this certainly ticks the right boxes for the bashers.

Have to say it i think this one will be a home run for Arrma and I like it a lot from the little you can see at the minute 👍

I agree Rich, I think the UDR is a flop, merely because they say don't jump it, don't bash it blah blah blah.

I think this is the only one that would tempt me to actually part with my hard earned, as I said above, provided it's not £850+

Maybe but you’d be hard pushed to beat an X Maxx but I would say that I own one 🤣🤣

    So a stretched Senton?

I really hope it’s more than a simple stretched out Senton 6s or it’s going to be rather disappointing

Senton is the only offroad ARRMA that interests me at present, and that only because I've a soft spot for SCT's and there's no viable alternative.  My monies on it being a stretched Senton with cosmetics being the only real difference beyond making parts bigger.

I’m hoping it’s a complete new build beefier arms, hubs etc different electrics bigger diffs, maybe even reservoir shocks the whole nine yards if not then I’ll be a little deflated by it.

It's completely new not based on a Senton. Mojave was one of Arrmas first vehicles. Admittedly it was 1/10th and a pile of crap. According to Arrmas designer Fabien Simonini this is all new. Will have to wait and see though.

I did wonder if it was a stretched Senton, perhaps using a Kraton chassis, but you can see glimpses in the vid that it ain't no Kraton chassis.

Not hating on it in my previous post, just not what I'd have liked to see.

X-Maxx contender? Could still happen before December, just in time for xmas.

I've heard things before from Fabian....we'll see I guess.  Should ARRMA continue like this it does make me wonder where the Losi brand is headed.

It's that rear axle. They jump like crap and if locked, spend most of thier time upside down.

Never had a problem with pivot-balls, not once. What other options are there?

I'm not really too interested in running 8s etc... So 6s would do me nicely in a rig like this.

That being said, for that money you can get a nice 8th truggy, which would also suit me.

Hmmm, I think a basher is needed like, just struggling with which one.

I will have one of this... this is basically a 1/8 racing buggy in 1/7 scale buggy with a SCT body/cage!

Rear locked axle/diferencials are a mistake for speed & stability.

Locked rear axle/diff's are for low crawler speeds and not for speed...

People nowdays just want that 6s speed and that can't be drivable on a crawler system. Dumb is who believe that crap!

1:1 racing is a diferent ball game, where size & weight count's so those systems can achieve some speed that humans can operate....

But in RC... i mean a 80kmh x 7 (1/7 scale) = 560kmh... now go drive a 1:1 car at 560kmh... you need all the help GOD can find! lol

And that help is the configuration a racing buggy 1/8 have!

Imagine the size of a 1:1 size shock compared to the 1/8 in real life... A single shock is bigger then a human! lol

I know what a racing 1/8 buggy is and is the best RC for speed and stability. Period! If it got a SCT body and 1/7 scale...oh yeahhhhhhhhhh!

Also don't forget "motocross" belted tires, like the new stuff from Proline (belted Threnchers)...those stock (which are good) are not belted and body will rubb on any 6s/8s  attemp and blow either body or tire! :)

    I am all in!

Just my 2 cents of this dilema!! Believe whatever you want. That's my opinion!

Jay Tee has been uploading some good footage of this, seems tough as old boots. I've already got too many cars, definitely don't have room for this. For shame.

Scale speed doesn't work like that at all XD you can't just take the scale and times it by the speed. In the same way you can't take the weight of it and times it by the scale either.
