    LONGER CHASSIS
    LONGER CHASSIS

For this new version of the KRATON® 4X4 4S BLX Speed Monster Truck, ARRMA® engineers lengthened the vehicle to 21.54 inches – 0.74 inches longer than previous model — for increased stability and control.

    WIDER TRACK
    WIDER TRACK

To handle more aggressive bashing, the front and rear track width has been increased with new, wider arms to 17.72 inches – 1.89 inches more than the previous KRATON® 4X4 4S BLX Speed Monster Truck.

    DESIGNED TOUGH
    DESIGNED TOUGH

Features that contribute to the 4X4 4S BLX platform's unstoppable performance include a stronger composite chassis and retained hinge pin plates; protective skid plates in front and rear; steering with more clearance for stones; a castellated slipper pad and sliding gear mesh; and rubber-shielded bearings throughout. Extended height dirt defenders limit the amount of dirt and debris that can reach the chassis tub. Front and rear bumpers offer defense against impacts.

    MODULAR DESIGN
    MODULAR DESIGN

The KRATON® 4X4 4S BLX Speed Monster Truck RTR incorporates the signature ARRMA® easy-access modular design. Separate, easily removable chassis modules for the power system, electronics and differential components make routine maintenance fast and simple.

    BIG BORE OIL-FILLED SHOCKS
    BIG BORE OIL-FILLED SHOCKS

Longer, aluminum-bodied, oil-filled big bore shocks are included and mounted on higher shock towers. These plus the wider suspension arms give the vehicle longer, more plush suspension travel.

    WHEELS & TIRES
    WHEELS & TIRES

The high-quality rubber dBoots® Copperhead 2 LP tires are vented to disperse water for improved durability. Their multi-surface, chunky tread pattern delivers awesome traction on a wide range of surfaces. The tires are mounted on tough, 3.8" MT wheels with CNC machined, red anodized 17mm hubs.

    FINISHED TRUCK BODY

    A BIGGER, TOUGHER KRATON® 4X4 4S BLX

The original ARRMA® KRATON® 4X4 4S BLX Speed Monster Truck provided the perfect middle ground between the agile 3S BLX vehicles and bigger, more powerful 6S BLX machines. It delivered affordable performance for brushed bashers looking to upgrade and for any driver wanting ARRMA® toughness and speed.

This new version marks the next evolution of the capable ARRMA® 4X4 4S platform — longer, wider, and tougher than the previous chassis for even greater stability and control. It also includes a full package of Spektrum radio electronics and is the first ARRMA® 4X4 to come equipped with a Spektrum 4S brushless power system.

The footprint of this KRATON® 4X4 4S BLX Speed Monster Truck is 16% larger than the previous model, with higher shock towers, longer shocks, and wider suspension arms for longer, more plush suspension travel. The strength of the transmission has been bolstered with the inclusion of steel gearbox input gears, steel main diff gears and CVD Driveshafts. Upgrades are joined by proven features from before that deliver unstoppable performance in environments ranging from off-road, dirt, and grass to parking lots, paved and asphalt surfaces. These include a strong composite chassis and retained hinge pin plates; protective skid plates in front and rear; steering with more clearance for stones; a castellated slipper pad and sliding gear mesh; and rubber-shielded bearings throughout. The KRATON® 4X4 4S BLX also incorporates the signature ARRMA® easy-access modular design to make routine maintenance fast and simple.

Made of high-quality rubber, the dBoots® Copperhead 2 LP tires offer an aggressive, chunky tread pattern for excellent traction on a wide range of surfaces. They're also vented to disperse water for improved durability. The truck body has a tough, injection-molded rear wing and comes factory-finished in your choice of two exciting colors. Front and rear bumpers protect against impacts and a wheelie bar with rubber tires provides stunt potential.

Completing the ready-to-run package are a Spektrum SLT3 2.4GHz radio with SR315 receiver and a stronger, faster Spektrum S652 digital servo. Add your choice of battery, charger, and "AA" transmitter batteries and bash with the best!

I've heard it's going to cost £1599.99 which means it will go perfectly with those gems ace £300 batteries. I heard they are going to have 3 in stock then have no parts for 12 months too can't wait 🤗

I know youre joking, but I believe these are going to be relatively well priced?

Aimed directly at Traxxas no doubt

Lol  totally over dramatic !!  But hey that’s typical of Arrma they love a bit of drama.

The pin issue is simple to fix a bit of heat shrink job done the bearing  looking at the rotor is clear it’s got hot probably due the pin working out causing binding. The shafts rubbing both on the shocks and centre also won’t be helping the matter

Arrma won’t be sorting this before release date them trucks are already packaged ready to go

Horizon have single handily killed Arrma

Yeah the pin issue is no biggie, likewise the motor, could easily have been due to the pin / binding, but can't say I'm happy about a design that lets the shock springs rub against a drive shaft...  Certainly won't be rushing to swap the Maxx for one of these.

*opens thread about an RC you're interested in*

"Hey guys, there's issues with this truck, don't preorder".

    - "Not a big issue, people can fix it themselves np"

"BIG ISSUE also look here Traxxas worse i can't believe how bad they are serious overpriced wow wtf *proceeds to link three videos to an RC entirely unrelated to the one the thread is about*"

On the topic of the RC that this thread is actually about: i was kinda interested, but not at that price. We paid that not too long ago for a Kraton 6s - and it's more expensive than most Corally 6s models. The original 4x4 series was what, almost £100 cheaper?

Seems like there’s a bit of a delay on these landing in the UK.

I preordered one of these from Modelsport  back in July and the release date slipped twice.

Then last week it just simply said Out of Stock.

I spoke to the guys at Modelsport for any info I could get and they kindly looked into it and advised that demand for this truck just simply hasn’t been met and due to its popularity the first batch won’t even be making it to the UK.

Around November was the date mentioned about stock coming in.

I’ve cancelled my order and will see how it all pans out, I’ll pick something else up instead.
