Dread to think how much this is gonna be 😅

Someone else had already patented it 🤣

When would that stop them? They’d just refute all knowledge of its existence and patent it anyway

A drag light without staging lights. Not gonna get into price and stuff, but what's the point of this if you could just use a randomised timer on your phone.

The most important part of the tree are the staging lights to get cars lined up properly. That should be the main feature, getting two cars lined up exactly equal before they launch - not a randomised flashlight for probably around £100 (or more).

It's designed around street racing and no prep drag racing essentially replaces the guy in-between the cars with the flash light that signals to go (or in proper english a torch lol). So it's just a really fancy torch, though would probably be handy if there's just two of you and no one to hold said torch. Traxxas did do a full Christmas tree style light set but I don't know if they still do it or plan to bring it back.

While true, the guy running backwards in no prep with the torch also judges whether one jumps or not. Something else that's missing here. Rules like a chase is a race exist for that reason, but well..

I guess i expect too much from a toy race light.
