If I hadn’t of bought some MIP’s 6 months ago, I would definitely give these a go, you know they will be decent if they are Core RC 👌

As a man who uses tools for a living though I can assure you that many that look the same are not created equally...

Disclaimer to the above - I don’t know which of any of the above are actually any good or not...

They are literally the same though... Made in the same factory... 🙆‍♂️

It's just an illusion because of the brand moniker that's been put on it...

No one makes their own stuff anymore it seems... (or very very few)... Not even mip make their own drivers... Although I do believe they're made domestically in the US still by a third party

I think the handles are the same but some tips are different as i had some budget ones and they were really bad.

Yeah, I must admit I’m not super knowledgable about RC specific tools and brands - but there are definitely still some that seem better than others and it’s not all badge engineering.

You know far more than me, what would you recommend?

Yeah, this is what I mean - especially 1.5 and 2mm tips as it’s hard to harden something that small and still maintain resilience.

I bought a set of Fastrax when I first got back into the hobby in February and have replaced the 1.5 already as I “unscrewed” the tip clean off the shaft, and the 2 needs changed as it’s pretty chomped just from daily use.

I think most proper named ones are good  but all will give up trying to shift a really stuck bolt or screw.

The ones with the hardened tips Ti coated are better (brass coloured).... The other ones are just the same but not Ti coated...

The price difference between coated and non coated is 15pence per driver...

These are the prototypes for the ones I had made for Dbi... (i later changed the brand font to a more stylised one).... Total cost of these was £9.40 for a set of 4...and that's with a small moq of 15 sets a time... If you ordered a 100 sets it'll bring the cost down to about £7 per set of 4.

These are about a year old now and get used a few times a week.... They do last... If you get the ti tips... These are still on the original tips....

Sure they're not snap on... But they're also not snap on prices I guess... That being said... If I used them everyday for work... I would.. And did... Invest in a snap on set with their bs 'lifetime warranty' 🤣👍.... But you're looking at roughly £30 each driver for snap on

    Swings n roundabouts

    Are they for sale anywhere?

It’s Ti tips I’ve used as replacements in my Fastrax

Thanks amigo, they where decent for what they were, solid cnc handles.... Not into the knurled tools craze😁

They where for sale for about 6 months... I cut my ties with the Chinese supplier for reasons that shall remain unspoken

I made 120% markup on a set of 4, think how much hudy is making 😂
