Added some stickers. A very challenging sticket set for me, and its far far from perfect. But this is probably my favourite Touring car now. Proper Gran Turismo!
Im looking at widening the stance somehow too.
With my other NSXs. Few more to get
With some R34s. The real versions of these wouldve had some great battles back in the day (and on 13 year old meβs Playstation!)
Some other JDM goodness
The view isn't great, you get a load of the roof in view and no tyres.
It was nice and easy to screw it to the IR40 cage.
It's going on the Capra next.
I've put a basic analogue fpv camera on one of my trx4m's.
Just a little tester, it's obviously not ideal on the cage exposed.
I tested it with my googles and it wasn't too bad.
The camera has a little vtx attached and is powered by a 1s lipo.
I'm going to see how far I can get it round the crawler course.
Being analogue the video quality won't be great but I'll try and get a video.
If it goes alright I might try a lightweight digital system.
Does it count if I'm the delivery person? to myself? π
Meet the new project car
Yes, it's Hobao Hyper 7!
What's the plan?
BRUSHLESS π
but also a Semi donor!
It's listed as a runner, so the aim is to get it stripped of Nitro Gubbins and get my Older Beloved Hyper 7 Running again!
I not really been posted this. I kinda just made it.
My Glow plug spanner was cheap and from a fasttrax nitro starter set. Inside the 'socket' has no retention for the plug so as soon as you turn it upside down the plug falls out. Completely forgot to keep an eye open for this when buying it so fool on me I suppose π€·ββοΈ. anywhos will i had the savage up the heath the other week my uncle suggested after some struggling to put a short bit of nitro fuel line on the end of the plug and just start it with that and then tighten it with the spanner. Worked great. So the other day I had a thought of combining the two π§
little bit of trial and error and a dab of tyre cement later...
When did we stop accepting this as the standard kit packaging on an RC? It amazes me each time. Its beautiful!
Fast forward to today and even some premium kits have the parts thrown in π
