  1. Since the weather has been amazing and it has been low tide at just the right time i took the opportunity to run my cars on the beach (i suck as i forgot to take any footage), yesterday i had the asuga out which got cut short on the second pack as i heard a tyre flapping, but luckily i also took the slash ultimate and run 3 packs through that too. Had so much fun i went back today with the xmaxx and run 4 sets of packs through it, which again was awesome fun πŸ™‚

  2. Took the DR8 for a run on the wider hex adapters and Ali tyres. Tyres definitely felt more grippy than stock but frustratingly the offset is different so my +20mm total width on stock wheels turns into about +10mm on the Ali ones. Was a good run but lost a grub right at the end which lost rear drive. Cheap fix at least but I have lost track of how long it has been since I had a RC sessions with no breakages/issues.

  9. Post winter shake down for @Skyesgaming's TT02 and DT03. Just half a pack through each to check they're all tickety boo. Also got a full pack through my Pirates 3. Considering to cost roughly half what a 6s typhon would cost. It's really holding up well. Still want to retire it and get a hobao truggy. But if it holds up well enough to the abuse this summer I may delay that another year. Also birthday present holding up great πŸ˜„πŸ˜„

  15. @Partydaz🀣 Well that's an idea in my head for later @MrCake DR8 ooks cool. I want to fpv one of my basher, probably 1/8. Tje DR8 body looks ideal for attaching fpv equipment. I looked online to try and get the DR8 body but it looks like I'd have to buy it in separate parts.

  16. Got to pull the gearbox out of the car now to fit new diff with Blackbone internal and external gears and Taylor titanium input shaft , fitted my FLM driveshaft cups at the same time. I am fitting a new FID master cylinder as the GTB one is messy to fill and a pain to bleed up. This one has a nice big pot and lid on the top , but didn't come with a mount , so I made one. Lastly are carbon fiber driveshaft guards , which will be shaped to follow the profile of the FLM rear arms and bolted down using the tapped drillings in the top of said arms. They never are finished are they ?

  20. Fitted some 10mm extension hubs to the DR8. Didn't want to go too wide and hoping 10mm is enough to make a difference.
