  1. Treated myself to a arrma typhon grom to fill the gap i had from selling my mini 8ight buggy. That was one of the few cars I regret selling. Got a few upgrades for it too as I never leave any of my cars standard. Also got some leds that I'm gonna mod to fit my team corally sketer

  3. Hello. I suppose first order of business would be to try and turn the thing on. New battery and charger required. Plus a batteries for controller. Then Oil everything. Probably best I do the above before asking for advice. Got a bit ahead of myself. Cheers.

  4. Hi All I've recently been reunited with my old rc truck. Given its been sat in an attic for the last 30 odd years, is there any chance in getting it working again? I don't want to throw a load of money at it but thought it might be a fun project for me and my son to tackle. Can anyone offer advice on where i should begin? Or tell me plainly if its a lost cause. I'm coming at this totally blind and have no experience or knowledge about the hobby. Please be gentle. I'm sorry if this should be posted elsewhere on the forum (have i mentioned im new). Please move/delete if so. Cheers.

  5. The old one you have wont take much to restore, once you get going you will enjoy it and it will be worth more than a new re release

  7. is that just a bloke thing? Ignore it for as long as possible? i don't like going doctors tbh, I don't feel like my issues are important... Don't we all wish to win? if I could win big enough to retire now I would but alas that never happens if i won enough to clear the mortgage then I would be happy! that would free some £600 odd a month back! ziggy

  9. At the moment my rc goal is to sell 80% of my models both aero models and land based models, not giving up the rc cars just a major cull

  13. I've ordered a new battery pack/charger to test it but i suspect im in over my head with this. As its an original model, is it worth anything to a collector/enthusiast? I think I'm better off starting from scratch with a new kit.

  14. Theres not a lot out there that will do more than 4x100w. A good few dual chargers than can hit 250-300 watts, but not quad. Honestly mate I shopped around for days, which is an eternity to an impatient man like me! You can’t do better than the Hota f6+ or d6 pro for the price. Maybe a dc only charger with homemade power supply will get you more bang for your buck. It’s not something I’ve looked into myself.

  18. It will fit just fine. You may want to find a lower kv rating as the flux version is spec’d with 3100kv

  19. I took this out today just driving around on sand and 1 of them front upper arms split along the hinge pin this was on pack 4 since new this happened, i haven’t jumped or crashed this car yet, i had read about this issue on the early cars but thought this was something that had been addressed, obviously not! I have done a repair where i glued the part back together, drilled some holes and threaded some m1.6 bolts in there with some superglue and then drilled some more holes and put zip ties around it And then this is what i am left with, i did drill holes in the other arm and put zip ties on it too and thats not even the worst bit! When i tried to take the wheels off the wheel hexes were just spinning, this is a very poor show to say the least! the back ones werent so bad, so both this and the arrma i got back in september have been somewhat underwhelming in quality! I am going to have a chat with team corally as i feel these issues should never have happened this early in especially with just been run on grass and sand and never crashed/jumped hopefully they can do something for me! So for the moment this is what i have put together so it can be run, i kinda like the look
