  1. Similiar to the RC goals thread but this isn't RC related this time! it's nearly 2025 what are your goals / resolutions me? 1. Get out of debt, im super close to been out the car loan money my target is to be clear by November 2025! 2. Get money sorted, not terrible with it, but need to get better accounts and to get a life saver fory daughter/save for a Car! The house took it all... 3. Like to move jobs, it's toxic at times, with timings set by people who don't actually do the job/2nd income if possible! 4. Get the house extension finished! I've slacked after a rough 2024.... and touch up the bits that need fixing still, like getting a finished bathroom! 5. If I can some up the courage but finally get my head fixed cause its got huge cracks that aren't good for me... 1 step will be todo sumet for my mum on her passing anniversary to help remember her by! So what you doing for yourself? How you gonna get 2025 rolling? Ziggy

  2. Hard to say really, after many years of hard graft i feel money wise im in a good place, small mortgage that will be paid of well before retirement age, a decent job with a top class employer and a wonderful wife that allows me to indulge in my hobbies with no questions on what i spend, though out of respect i try to keep it to a lower amount of spend. But im just turned 60 by some miracle even with a dodgy ticker and i would dearly like to win the Friday night thunder ball jackpot so myself and my good wife can retire early, buy a little static sited on north wales coast as a holiday home, yeah £500k is not a huge amount but im not greedy and could do the early retirement on that.........thats about it

  3. Looks like that will meet your needs. But it is twice the size, 2.5x the weight, less capable and more expensive!

  5. Had a parcel from modelsport today, which was unexpected as I only ordered it yesterday morning. Spent a couple of hours getting the upgrades fitted, a bit of a learning curve working on this for sure.

  6. so just a little update for anyone who is following I believe it to be my receiver as after testing it is getting extremely hot i tried it on one of my other Riggs and it did the same thing so I ordered a new receiver and will see if this solves the issue.

  8. Isn't DC side more focused on those who bash off grid/ No AC available? so charging off a 12v car battery for example? and going DC to DC is alot easier voltage changes vs changed AC to Dc (which is alot easier vs going DC to AC) And to Note 1 power supply in and multiple OUTS, meaning something has to give or you need one hell of an supply in! If I got another charger, I'd look at Dc only and using a power supply, as the power supply can be used for other things too! Ziggy

  10. Sense got back to me again and suggested to try a different USB port or computor. Also offered to send me a new S-Link. So I said yes and on the meantime would try different ports. Plugged it into a USB port that’s directly connected my motherboard… and it worked. Wrote first time with no issues. So that may be the solution? I do get COM error in RCPLUS but waiting for a bit after that error without unplugging it or anything and it does find it, does seem to depend on which USB port as to how reliable that is though. Emailed back to say I actually don’t need a new s-link but they may send it out anyway, not sure. TL;DR - Solution may be as simple as using a different USB Port.
