Had a parcel from modelsport today, which was unexpected as I only ordered it yesterday morning. Spent a couple of hours getting the upgrades fitted, a bit of a learning curve working on this for sure.6 points

I now have 1 of these and of course i couldnt leave it standard, so this is what i started with and this is what i have been up to today, i had been looking forward to this. Started with the front and it all went together very well, these ADU racing parts look good and are sold at being machined 7075 aluminium, i did use the gold screws that came with the parts, im still undecided on them but time will tell then moved onto the rear but realised the centre brace also had to be changed at this point too Then the centre diff unit and motor mount had to be changed before the new brace was installed1 point

This one is “easier” as I can go and pick it up tomorrow and is dual 200w off AC I believe? https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/skyrc-d400-ultimate-duo-ac-dc-charger-uk--4174561 point

Screenshot taken from a video I took of a 'Black' helicopter. You know - the ones they tell you that don't exist. The crew were disturbed by a tractor entering the land, so they took off just a few seconds after landing. They then circled around behind the woods that you can see in the background, below treetop height and headed North. The Helicopter was a Puma HC2.1 point

Oh a thread i can comment on right i would say avoid ISDT chargers, good when new but dont tend to live for a long working life, a mate has had a fair number go dead I highly recommend Toolkit RC chargers been brilliant for me, maybe this one would do your needs and if you look on the page they do a DC power supply https://www.hobbyrc.co.uk/toolkitrc-m8d-2-channel-1600w-dc-charger https://www.hobbyrc.co.uk/toolkitrc-adp200-200w-power-supply1 point

Yes it will put 250w max to ports 1&2 and 3&4. So if you want 250w you need to use one from each side if that makes sense? If charging 4 batteries you will only get a max of 125w at each port. You could charge 2x 125w on ports 1&2 then use 3 or 4 to get 250w on a 3rd battery.1 point

Hard tell it's dirty with it being green kinda gives it a camo look!. https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/422712 I used this x-large dusty motors cover on the Kagama if your after a cover at some point. Fits lovely if the wheelbase is the same should fit. One good reason I got it is because with the exposed centre diff rocks were getting stuck under it which I found out isn't good after it locked up after a jump.1 point

Not heard of ADU racing before but that looks like some nice parts and a fair bit cheaper than other 7075 stuff. Love my Kagama for what is my first large scale Truggy. Got a DR8 first which I thought was a big RC until I got the Kagama! Not being an engineer, I have always wondered what stops some of these Ali type brands just slapping the word 7075 on stuff!? I certainly had no ideas myself about different grade metals until the RC YT crowd started banging on about 7075.1 point

Awesome, corn snakes are a great option and can come in loads of patterns and colours. There's plenty of choice of lizards that would be a great option as well. If you can try and make a trip to Slitherin Reptiles as they'll help answer any questions about what might take your fancy and let you hold pretty much anything you might be interested in, which can get expensive very fast 😅. If you're on Facebook they often do a livestream on a Friday so you can ask to see anything specific or want to ask any questions on there.1 point

Got the motor refitted along with a heatsink and rocket fans. I should have mentioned before but also got some rear driveshaft guards fitted. Also added some extended hubs, really liked the way these things fitted And all back together again, i also changed the receiver to a flysky, since there is no telemetry there was no point using the stock radio system, i thing that was a bit of a disappointment was the esc, it is a rebranded hobbywing but my v2 tuning card doesnt connect to it, i will need to try the v1 and see if that works but dont own 1 of them. so all in i am pleased with the end result and am looking forward to running it tomorrow1 point
