Well 3 packs through it now and it certainly looks like its been used! it does keep its insides clean though

Maiden voyage complete! Holy cow what a capable truck, got a bit bogged down in the mud once and had to wade in to give it a nudge. Other than that it was mint! Went up and down some insanely steep stuff like it was nothing. Definitely recommended the 1904 gmade tyres. Cannot wait to get out again!

Awesome, corn snakes are a great option and can come in loads of patterns and colours. There's plenty of choice of lizards that would be a great option as well. If you can try and make a trip to Slitherin Reptiles as they'll help answer any questions about what might take your fancy and let you hold pretty much anything you might be interested in, which can get expensive very fast 😅. If you're on Facebook they often do a livestream on a Friday so you can ask to see anything specific or want to ask any questions on there.

Think I'll do that as I'll need batteries no matter what car I end up with. Have EC5 connectors on the car at the mo and they still seem to be used, so will look to a few different battery options. Luckily, I have a 3D printer and the Revo chassis has some space for different sized trays, so could go to rigid cases if needed. Is 30C, 5000mah still a good spec or are there better / cheaper (due to popularity / production volume etc) options nowadays?

You could get a couple of batteries with deans or XT60 connectors and convert from the traxxass plug, then if the revo does not live up to your expectations sell the traxxas and get another model then you will have the new lipo`s

It’s funny you say that mate, went to my nieces house last August and her fella has about 8-9 snakes, never really been interested other than seeing the pics of yours, however, me and my eldest daughter had a 18” corn snake on our hands/arms, it was so chilled out!! Again thats something i might dabble with at some point, he feeds his a baby mouse once a month, i can live with that. I have fancied a lizard of some kind but i think the corn snake would be the favoured choice now.

Was gonna start the whole new thread thing but I’ll be honest I just can’t be bothered 😂 So Xmas has been and gone and I had half an hour this morning spare so jumped in and stripped it, I had no intention from the start to use it with the stock internals or electrics so a quick pic of where I got up to for now
