  2. As Tanveer said, Supreme are a skateboard brand I think who collab with other manufacturers, heres one with Tamiya a few years ago https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/266969277296?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=iZCvUq5oT7S&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=t4BQ8_QoRBC&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

  3. That's thing looks well beefy, seems like a buggy version of the Kagama from my experience things a tank. Few things watch out for the CVD pins like to snap or fall out I've done a few experiments and 5 packs in it's still ok 🤞, this is what I've done so far: I have noticed that when I set the end points one tyre starts to move before the other so I set end points after both start to move sounds weird but non of my other RCs do it so might be why the CVD pins snap as it's over stressing it on one side. Also I put heat shrink around the CVD collars to capture the retainer spring to stop the CVD pins falling out. Check the rear diff bearings after a few runs as my ones are starting to show wear must be because of all that 6s power! 😄, also rear diff likes to leak but stops after a while. Filled according to Corally fill levels but still leaked then stopped must of got to a fill level it liked I have checked rear diff and still loads in it, so if you see diff leakage on the right side of the rear diff it's probably ok. My 4s Corally did the same but I used a thicker o-ring that stopped that leaking. Centre diff leaks, after wiping down the diff casing and the gasket it's fine now both my 4s and 6s did this after that it was golden plus put 500k in centre diff 6s which probably helped with it not leaking. Yeah old school hobbywing cards work on them. That's what I have found with my Corally rcs, if you find any other tips for them post them up I am loving messing with these so easy to work on.

  5. Haha funny you should say this. Im back in work today and drove passed (well within a few miles) of Wheelspin Models. I noticed Id lost a spring retainer when cleaning it (great thing about small scale is it fits in the sink) so picked up the charger Ive got a decent USB C lead/power supply in my van for my Laptop so this should work well I have two brand new Hobbywing Sensored Combo’s doing nothing: A 3300Kv https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/hobbywing-combo-max10-g2-80a-esc-3652sd-3300kv-blk-g3-motor-1350916 5400kv https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/hobbywing-combo-max10-g2-80a-esc-3652sd-5400kv-blk-g3-motor-1350918 I MIGHT. Put the 5400kv one in there, put a Traxxas Connector on it and run the 2S Traxxas Battery/USB Charger with the Hobbywing System. What do you think? 🤔

  7. Got the motor refitted along with a heatsink and rocket fans. I should have mentioned before but also got some rear driveshaft guards fitted. Also added some extended hubs, really liked the way these things fitted And all back together again, i also changed the receiver to a flysky, since there is no telemetry there was no point using the stock radio system, i thing that was a bit of a disappointment was the esc, it is a rebranded hobbywing but my v2 tuning card doesnt connect to it, i will need to try the v1 and see if that works but dont own 1 of them. so all in i am pleased with the end result and am looking forward to running it tomorrow

  8. So today I actually used it….. I was up early to cook dinner as we entertain my parents on Boxing Day. Whilst I was cooking I charged the lipo using the included lipo USBC charger….. I initially hated this idea, and googled better options but I wasnt in a rush so the charge time didnt matter. I also already have an uprated Hobbywing Sensored Brushless system, a receiver and a metal geared servo for this. Ive even got a 3D printed mount for the new ESC. Its all ready to go and I intended selling the stock electronics… However…. I used it…..

  9. Now on paper this is a shrunken X Maxx/Maxx with 10th Scale brushless electronics. On paper, thats an incredible recipe. Ironically at £279. The only thing that isnt mini is the price. Thats 10th scale prices….. However. Ive got one. I opened it Christmas Day and here it is with some of its siblings. TRX4M Maxx X Maxx Awwww

  11. Now the terms “Traxxas” and “Maxx” mean a lot to me. Ever since the Traxxas 3906 E-Maxx came out in the 90s (lets be honest, its fine and understandable to not like Traxxas now. But in the late 90s, the Emaxx was a genuinely revelation. 14.4v, twin 550 motors, switchable 2 speed. Genuinely a legendary RC car. There was also the iconic T Maxx around at the same time. They all went through “facelifts”, eventually becoming brushless/3.3 powered nitros. I had multiple of each. They were legendary, Iconic RCs. Regardless of your opinion of the company now, the T/E Maxx are extremely important RCs. When the name was re introduced with the X Maxx, I obviously bought one. Well. Multiple. When the 10th Scale Maxx came out, I again bought a couple. This brings me onto the newly introduced Mini Maxx….

  12. I now have 1 of these and of course i couldnt leave it standard, so this is what i started with and this is what i have been up to today, i had been looking forward to this. Started with the front and it all went together very well, these ADU racing parts look good and are sold at being machined 7075 aluminium, i did use the gold screws that came with the parts, im still undecided on them but time will tell then moved onto the rear but realised the centre brace also had to be changed at this point too Then the centre diff unit and motor mount had to be changed before the new brace was installed

  14. Was gonna start the whole new thread thing but I’ll be honest I just can’t be bothered 😂 So Xmas has been and gone and I had half an hour this morning spare so jumped in and stripped it, I had no intention from the start to use it with the stock internals or electrics so a quick pic of where I got up to for now

  16. I get what you mean. I’ve just always sized things on kv as it’s tangible, unlike the torque. You can also control torque with the ESC. I actually turned the punch back up from 1 because there wasn’t enough to control it in the air. would be fun to see what top end you could get with the 5400kv though!

  18. no bud it’s a stock version. Supreme is a fashion brand that has always done weird collaborations with other manufacturers. This losi Promoto is just a collab between supreme and losi. Only difference is the supreme branding. They did a collaboration with Honda last year too and made a supreme crf450 which is what I think this is a replica of.

  19. Very nice mate Is that an upgraded version of it ?

  20. Ive found in the past that the problem with RCs is we make them too torquey. This what ruins them as the second you give it too much throttle they wheelie or flip over. My logic is having more RPM but less torque will give high speeds/rpm without the insane amount of torque. This is of course is in theory

  23. Now thoughts. It does genuinely seem built like a 10th scale RC. The shocks and plastics feel heavy duty. I did add a spacer to the rear shocks like everyone else seems to, but it feels very very robust. Performance? Genuinely I was extremely impressed with it. Box stock It was actually fine for speed. It was manageable which is actually a good thing in 2024. It didnt really wheelie, it just sort of drove. I didnt do anything crazy, but it was fun. Ive not used an RC for months but I enjoyed it. I really like this. Now, the price of £279. As I touched on previously, that isnt cheap for a mini, even if its bigger than most. Its really not my thing as I dont condone buying cheap AliExpress or Banggood stuff BUT I can accept theres probably a similar scale/performance product from there thats very similar to this for cheaper. But I own this, its paid for so I dont care about that. But I do accept you can maybe get the same for cheaper. Id like more speed. Not power. Just more mph. However. You know I moaned about the charger? Ive had an idea…. I could leave this in my van. Give it a blast during downtime at work, and charged it up whilst I commute via USB….. this would allow me to get more out of the hobby as I could easily use this….. but that would require me keeping it stock….. As for the BL2S system. Its actually fine in this, but I struggle to see how it performs in say a Slash 4x4. Thats a big truck! Although this is brushless, it doesnt seem that much of a step up from the Titan 21t brushed stuff….

  24. Finally pulled my finger out and got the protective coating off and stuck the decals on Finally fitted the lights into the bumper and unclipped the power cable so it's easier to plug the battery in Now to see about getting the diffs regressed to try and increase the power been put down! Ziggy

  27. I think social media is great for filling in time for example when i am sitting in a car at work carrying out software downloads on it its great for passing time waiting for it to complete but for any type of meaningful discussion that you may want to reference at a later date or anything else they are a complete waste of time
