  1. This little beauty it’s not staying looking like that for long 😁

  2. Size wise they are just about the same, it's just the tread pattern that is more open. I've seen someone on here ( think it was tomr ) who actually cut some of the blocks out of the standard tyres...far too tedious for me so I spent some more money!! 🤣

  5. I don't doubt it does a reasonable job, but I like to run most of my rigs on my GT3C, to do this with the Vorteks I need to put an esc in as well. And even if I didn't change anything out, if the esc or rx side of the 2in1 goes out, I'm effectively replacing 2 parts as opposed to one. And I doubt a new 2in1 is going to be cheaper than a stand alone arrma 3s esc or rx? I understand it on minis and micros and general budget RC's, where space is at a premium and margins often very thin. I have one on my little HBX 1/16, and it works well in that car, but on hobby grade 1/10 I just think its a bit of a cop out.

  6. 2in1 esc/rx would kill it for me. no place for that on a so called hobby grade rig at circa 350 quid IMO. but no doubt it will sell like hot cakes because its an Arrma...😉

  7. I dread to think how many RCs I have had. Maybe 300+ over the years! I converted an E Revo to brushless fairly on, certainly before the official brushless version came out but I doubt I was the first to do it. I had an E Maxx with lots on Unlimited Engineering/Great Assembly parts on it. I never got it finished and sold it to Candyman who is on this forum. Small world! Heres a thread of some of my RCs since 2009 if youre interested 🙂

  8. I got two 6s truggies now and I told myself I don't need two of the same type but wanted try a different brand see what the fuss is about, not been disappointed but I know the other one will sit collecting dust 🙈. Tis the season so might give it a clean and stick it on here see if it sells.

  10. Did a bit of research online tonight and I think some parts are the same as the Fusion. Menace GTR seems to be the low down road version. Not sure if the alloy parts are Fastrax, they have only been going about 10 years and judging by the dried out rotten rubber tyres and inch of dust which were on this, it likely hasn't ran for longer than 10 years. The shade of purple is the same as the stock chassis so could be hop up parts by Schumacher. The story I got was that it was raced on tracks a long time ago then retired to the loft and forgotten about. I've been through about half of it so far and it seems to be complete and nothing worn out. Engine has plenty of compression. Quite a bit of carbon fibre on it, most is OEM I think. The shock shafts might have been swapped to shorter ones to get it closer to the tarmac. The underside of it is scraped but they all seem to be like that on online photos. This is the car and the body which I later found in a box. The plan is still to give it a once over, see if the engine starts, and then pass it on to someone with an interest in nitro rcs. Seems to be a few people who collect these and refurbish them.

  11. The losi doesn’t get out much to be honest. Especially since I’ve had a touch of tennis elbow! I do have to get it over my head with my arms locked out to get it up there 😂 I copied the storage idea. From someone on here I think.

  13. Finally got round to pressing the button on the new Rlaarlo Rog1 from Ali, and the damn thing has gone up £30 in just a few days...!!! My own fault for not buying when I first looked, but being a stubborn old bar steward I'm now going to resist and see what happens after xmas. Hopefully they'll come down again, the crazy price spikes and dips are one of the things that frustrate me most with Ali.
