  2. @m4inbrain, appreciate your honesty mate. It has me thinking, maybe look for a good used model with the hop-ups done, even buying from someone like yourself that doesnt get the two wheeled thing, should save me a few quid. But it will have to be funded from selling one of my fleet, namely the X-maxx, i can’t see anyone wanting to buy a mk1 stampede 4x4 for anywhere what i need (even if its fully upgraded) if i do sell the X-maxx i will be losing out money wise big time. always fancied a rc bike, had a Kyosho micro Ducati but you needed a snooker table to be able to run it, had a few goes of the Anderson m5 but it fell over a lot!! now back in the day when i was a strapping young male, i had dirt bikes, a disused pit on my doorstep and had some great fun/crashes doing all kinds of silly things (boys will be boys though) fast forward to now and I couldn’t get my leg over one let alone ride!! That’s where the appeal comes from, maybe i can scratch the itch again??? has to be the Kwak green though, ive had Yamaha and Honda so fancied a change. funny thing is though, this would cost me more than my first real crosser..

  3. Had one for 2 weeks. From my personal experience, the novelty wore off really fast. Yeah, it's cool hearing that gyro spin up (for quite a long time, i want to add), once or twice. It's also cool seeing the thing go down the road and wheelie, once or twice. And then.. well... yeah. That's about it. They are pretty flimsy, so while you can jump them, you're almost guaranteed to break it where the fork connects to the rest of the bike (i can't remember which reviewer it was, i wanna say RC Driver, broke it on the first drive there as well). Completely unusable in sand (i live near a beach), needs a large empty space with maybe a tiny jump, either concrete or dirt as long as there are no ruts etc. Dunno.. Wasn't for me. Twice or so was fun in the parking lot doddling around, but then got old quickly. That said, i'm not into bikes, so maybe someone else gets more out of it.

  4. 27 years ago someone impaled a 60 pound pumpkin on the top of a spire at Cornell University in the middle of the night. It's over 170 feet off the ground To this day, no one really knows who did it, why, and how this was accomplished without anyone noticing. On October 8, 1997, passersby noticed a pumpkin on top of the tower's spire. Because of the danger involved in retrieving it, administrators decided to leave it until it rotted and fell off. However, the pumpkin rapidly dried out in the cold air and remained on the tower until it was removed with a crane on March 13, 1998.

  5. Took it out today and broke it again, never even got 1 set of batteries through it snapped that pin there and damaged the plastic bit in the alloy pin retainer, so since not having a replacement hinge pin i did have a length of 4mm round bar and decided to cut a bit off and make a new pin got that installed along with the original pin retainer and we will see what breaks next time although i dont think it will be tomorrow as some serious wind has been forecast i was having an issue where grass kept getting sucked into the fans on the motor and stopping them turn, did this with a bit of mesh and hopefully will cure the issue

  6. Pro has carbon center diff top plate, carbon servo saver top plate, carbon rear shock tower, carbon inserts for the arms, front skid plate(stainless steel), different thickness set of anti roll bars, CNC arm holders (3 out of 4), CNC chassis, CNC rear uprights, rear CVD's. I think I got all the extras there

  8. Like @Stormbringer says it's probably easier to get yourself some nitro fuel line and cut a bit off that

  9. I got to say this thing is a lot of fun, only thing that concerned me was temps, so hopefully thats has been remedied with these rocket fans, i had to grind a couple of slots so the fan would fit secuely/clip in to the shround on top,of the esc

  10. Quick Google of that motor tells you it’s 36mm diameter (standard for 1/10) and 49.5mm in length. A 1/8 motor is usually 42mm diameter and can be over 70mm in length.

  12. I have an HPI RS4, and really want to put in a Castle Creations Cobra 6S and 7700 KV motor. Does anyone know if that motor will fit. I have a 32 pitch spur and pinion for it, so the space is the only problem. If anyone can give me the length and diameter of a 1/8 motor that would be amazing.😁
