Well after posting a picture of my tinyhawk freestyle yesterday, this happened.... Completely my fault. I changed the connector to a xt30 to run a single 2s lipo instead of two 1s lipos. I should of made the pigtail shorter. I looped the battery strap around the battery wires and connector and the battery must have come lose. I looked for it before it went dark but couldn't find it. I was gutted, only done about 6 batteries. I watched the crash over and over trying to work out where it landed. I noticed it landed / bounced off a pitched slate roof which narrowed it down, all the other roofs are asbestos. Got up early, and found the quad, a bit wet, visually looks like very little damage. All the props look good. This is were I've been really lucky, the battery wasn't attached but was only two feet away. The electronics could be dead as they spent a night outside in the damp weather. But, hopefully after a few days drying out there's a chance it may be OK π«°.4 points

I would leave it charged but use it in your rc car in the next few days or at weekend, leaving a lipo charged for 3-6 days wont hurt just store it safely3 points

err no if its finished charging i would disconnect it fore going downstairs3 points

Once you get into them they aren't too bad to look after. If you now want to storage charge it it will take quite a few hours to get to storage charge from balance charged, quicker to storage charge them from discharged. There are several good guides on YouTube about lipo battery care2 points

As @Stormbringer said, once it's charged disconnect it and put it in your safe storage container, such as a metal ammo can with the seal removed. Also, unless you are going to use it soon it should be storage charged, then balance charged just before you want to use it2 points

First flight outside with my tinyhawk 3 freestyle. Changed the battery connector to a xt30 to run a single 2s lipo. Loads more power than the tinyhawk I've been learning with.2 points

storage mode will charge the battery up to reach storage voltage and will discharge the battery down to that level as well, the chargers take ages if u try to storage mode a fully charged one, i tend to give a battery a wee blast in a rc car to get the battery down, if i charged one and not gonna use it then i do storage mode after whacking it in a car for a wee bit π1 point

In fairness, it drove really good. It's got a noticeable amount more punch. If conditions had allowed, I'd have got some longer squirts of full throttle. The video was a small fraction of the overall runs, but a squirt from mid throttle to full throttle coming through the gates resulted in a totally unexpected wheelie at about 40+ mph. Bonkers. I'll find the part and upload a separate video. I think it's got 75mph in it, on 17/46. π€1 point

Damn. In that case, even though I just fully charged it, I had better discharge it using the S65. LiPo batteries are a ball ache, aren't they?1 point

I broke it π , took apart and cleaned the centre diff of my Kagama and filled it up with 500k oil then when I bolted it all back up it was really tight so tried to spin it by force and crunch π₯². I thought the new diff juice was just really sticky and needed moving about in the diff. I was rushing because full of cold so little patience and snot running like a tap from my honker π. I knew I shouldn't of forced it to move but hey ho I am a knob head π. Had to order the part from team Corally themselves as my usual places have non in stock, kept waking Mog up with all my swearing π€¬.1 point

First flight outside FPV with the tinyhawk 3. Really good fun, I'm still flying in angle mode at the moment.1 point

@Lone-wolf A cheap V2 plastic rear axle so you can flip the rear diff and use the reverse rotation on the gearbox to help with torque twist. Cost about 2 and half quid from asiatees.1 point
