  4. I started the prep work to at least try and beat @Ant.p's Hyper VSE...While I managed 68, its bugging me he's 3mph behind without going full throttle, in fact I'm not even sure where this rivalry is going, neither of us have done a full throttle run, and both seem to be tinkering and making changes before maxxing them out. It'll probably end up evolving into something else and we'll have a scrap in costumes or something totally bonkers... Anyway: - Tidied most of the wires, going to reroute the LED wirers and safeguard them better - Used thicker wire between ESC and Motor, no real reason or belief that the 12AWG stuff was limiting me, and in fact it most likely detrimental as it weighs more... - Took material off the spoiler to try and reduce downforce so the car doesn't take flight again - Changed to EC5, no real reason or evidence of XT90s hitting limit, but I noticed the EC5s don't spark as violently and are soooo much easier to connect and disconnect. It was a case of buy more XT90 or try something different, so that's that. Next steps: - More speeeeeeeed, but without exceeding 1/8 scale electronics (e.g. oversized motor or 1/6 etc sized ESC) - and that's in motion 😉 - Over to the self proclaimed "top rude boi of Essex" @Ant.p

  8. Well today I managed to turn the Montana into a specter kinda truggy/buggy...thing lol also modified a sx-21 burn room plate to fit the force .21 engine lol gona take it out tomoz an hope it don't explode as it's got more combustion chamber than the standard burn room plate 🤦😂🤣 will video it tho as it's gona be epic if it explodes and pretty naff if it don't 😂🤣 it's got some standard buggy wheels with spiked tires, specter x8 wing mount, cheap eBay wing, Tiger eb4 exhaust and she'll, losi 8ight 3.0 air filter, some unknown trucks brake pads and center diff spur as its got less teeth than the standard. used to run rings around a savage X with big red engine and 3 speed on grass and was completely untouchable on tarmac especially when it's at full speed lol gona order some hub extenders and some smaller wheels soon and if the engine goes bang tomoz I'm gona order a LRP.32 or big red dynamite engine and slap that in there lol

  16. Have been an MT10 owner for a few months now. I honestly absolutely love this truck, it's certainly my go to basher. I have done a few upgrades since buying it new from MS Arrma body pin bungies as the stock ones went missing on its first day out so this stop them going flying on a roll over. Replaced stock battery straps for Arrma 3S straps as the stock ones were not really long enough to hold my 3S lipos tightly. Replaced stock Reedy ESC and motor for Hobbywing Max 10 3300kv ESC + motor combo, simply so I have more customisability in the way it behaves also even though the kv ratings are the same comapred to the stock setup, the Hobbywing is way more punchy and temps are considerably better. The Reedy setup liked to run VERY hot on 3S. Replaced stock Reedy servo for a 25kg Banggood special. Stock receiver replaced with my favoured Spektrum 3ch DSM which I use in all my models. Dusty motors chassis shroud and shock socks because I hate having to clean out dirty chassis! (medium shroud fits like a glove) Just fitted but haven't tested yet RPM front and rear arms, I broke the front left arm on its last outing by clipping a tree root which tore the arm out and bent up the front hinge pin alloy braces (you can just about see it in the photo where its slightly tweaked) i'll replace this part in due time, it's functional as it is. The things an absolute tank as it is though and really easy to drive even on 3S, it loves to pop wheelies and I rarely go over half throttle in general use. Handling wise around turns is insanely good! the addition of the included front and rear sway bars with a centre diff makes this thing drive like a proper racing buggy and not the monster truck it is. Yet on the loose dirt is easy to slide the back out and get some serious drifts going. What this thing really feels at home on is a skate park or BMX track, the air control it has is mental. a little blip on the throttle will have it backflipping with ease, a tap of the brake can stop rotation instantly or nose drive it if your not careful. On the BMX jumps I was able to pull a double backflip and a triple front flip no sweat. Awesome truck. Short roughly cut video of it hitting the BMX jumps doing some flips just to run the battery pack down after I had the Knightrunner on a trail walk.
