  2. Early surprise!! Was supposed to get my X-Maxx delivered on Friday however it came yesterday! Still can't get over how big this thing is!! Everytime I look at it, I have a stupid grin! It makes my XXL look like a toy and my carnage looks like a small hotwheels car! It came with two shells, one stock and the Proline Brute shell. Comes with Max 6 Rpm rear hubs Rpm Wheelie bar Spare set of Louise wheels Overall very chuffed with it! Can't wait for the weekend to give it a spin!

  5. Been having a look at these fans on Facebook etc, omg I can’t believe the price of them are these guys who are making them serious? There charging like between $50 to as much as $100 for a simple 12v 40mm computer fan that cost like £4 on Aliexpress ! Okay I get there adding a a cover and a mount a little bit of wire covering and a plug but come on that’s stupid money ! Why would anyone be stupid enough to buy one when you can do it yourself for a fraction of the costs ? Now I have to admit I’m not really a fan guy but I do feel once you have it geared correctly adding more cooling will help protect the motors performance and life span. So I’m going to make my own a found a guy that makes simple but effective 3D printed mounts so I’ve ordered them and I ordered a few fans of Aliexpress total spend was £25 and few pence but that’s got me a double and a single which would have been upwards of $120 if I’d of gone with the scammers 😂. I’ll show you guys once the bits show up 👍

  6. Thanks guys; appreciate it @Shergar To be honest, I've embraced the "old truck" aesthetic; with one missing wing mirror and one front headlight not working, so scratches no longer bother me!

  9. Bizarrely it’s a genuine Frog chassis that’s been spray painted red! 😂 The plan is to fix the front suspension and fit it up with a Kamtec lexan Sand Scorcher repro body.

  11. Best exercise to do is good strong walking, start small, build up but the secret is to do it every day , look at the olf fogeys that go rambling, all thin as a whippet Humans as a species are a walking animal, in early days groups of humans would be nomadic and walk for miles , then we climbed onto horses....then built motor transport and started to lose the ability, im out of condition but can still do 5k

  13. Hi all, For sale I have my 2 hpi micro rs4 ken block fiestas 1/18 scale. This is a reluctant sell as absolutely love these cars but need funds for other projects. Both cars are in really good condition. They both come with the car, transmitter and battery for the car (transmitter batteries not included). Battery chargers are not included but can easily be found online. The first car is a hpi micro rs4 fiesta in the 2013 grc ken block livery. This car is in very good condition with only slight cosmetic damage on the base of the chassis. Some of the carbon has come off at the back but this does not affect this car as the this is an unused part on the 140mm wheelbase bodyshell. The car comes with plastic drift tyres fitted. The bodyshell has no cracks and is in excellent condition. The second car is a hpi micro rs4 fiesta in the 2014 zebra ken block livery. This car is in very good condition. The car comes with rubber grip tyres fitted. The bodyshell has no cracks and is in excellent condition. Now looking for £100 for EACH car, or can do both for £180. However, I am open to offers. Price does not include postage or PayPal fees. Thanks for looking, Martyn

  29. Got the body sprayed today in Tamiya PS-32 Corsa Grey which is very close to a factory finish colour. Added a few stickers but chose not to overload it and detract from the money shot which is the engine bay. A few more things to do and I can call it complete.

  31. So basically it's a fraud system my support worker said that they are declining a lot of claims the first time around. Sounds like it's a compete joke of a system. I'm glad your wife finally got sorted though mate @m4inbrain

  32. PIP is a nightmare. My wife receives PIP, but only after a quite long, arduous and entirely unnecessary legal battle. After applying she got invited to be examined by a DWP "professional", awarding her two points. Which of course was nonsense, she wouldn't have applied if only mildly impaired. Hence, tribunal. Which, after a lot of stressing, running around collecting medical evidence, statements and testimonies, we (of course) won, granting my wife 14 points. And this is far from a "exception to the rule" - over 75% of all assessments by the DWP are overturned by a tribunal through appeal directly after. Which is absolutely appealing and ridiculous. Three out of four decisions, three quarters of the decisions made by "medical professionals" outsourced by the NHS to private facilities are wrong, putting peoples lives at risk. The government, or the NHS, are deliberately and methodically trying to cheat disabled people. At a rate this bad, three out of four people being wrongfully awarded either nothing or too little, there's a system behind it. And "someone" had to put that system into place, with the intent of declining as many people as possible.
