take the left side of the truck. unscrew all screws that are on that side plate. take side plate off. now to the other side of the truck. unscrew the back end of the truck so the whole back end of the truck comes off. you can now unscrew the screws on the right side plate including going to the gear box including the ones that go in just under the engine. pull on the enging a bit and wiggle it out. unscrew the 2 screws attaching the engine plate to the gear box and start assembling again!

here is a pic of what you need to adjust

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v251/mel...untitled3gh.jpg and i was just reading the new Radio Race Car and with these settings they clocked their savvy 4.6 at 58mph

its a 25 he has (according to under his av) no changes to the gear box should be needed

told you dude its jus plain sik ain't it lol

I I remember correctly the stock truck comes with both 16 and 18 tooth gears, I just presumed they used the 18 tooth if they were looking for high speed runs.

nah I think its jus the 17 it comes with.... dont' qoute me on that though

Still no gearbox in stock today will deffo be with me tommorow.

Strip down one side of the savage today and noticed on my clutch bell the silver screw part number (86271) was loose is this suppose to be tight or loose as was about half way undone?????? if it was undone what would this make savage do? lack of power? clutch not working correct? or even worse damage to my clutch?

no engine can be tuned sherrly on the fact that a good setting is say 1 turn in from flush. no engine will have a nice tune at that. you should tune it properly, not ask for howmany turns in you shoul have it,. garantueed if you try it it wont work.

a savvy 25 comes with a 15 tooth clutch bell and a 18 tooth clutch bell and the 4.6 comes with only a 17 tooth as far as im aware.

Yes this is right, remember that you a likely to be experiencing different weather conditions in your area compared to that of the poster's, added to the fact that every engine is different mean that there is no universal tune for engines.
