dazzi220
I only ever owned one MT which was a savage, worth every cent. You may want to look into them, very popular for good reason. Welcome
123456
The Pirate is a truck from an older generation. It is a good piece of kit, but the LSt, Revo, MGT and Savage have all been released after the Pirate and as a result, better.

123456
im looking to spend about £250-£300 ← I think the LSt is way out of your price range then. The Assoaciated Monster GT is within your range, just. I have seen them for about £320 in some places.

MR_TiGGer
£300? Get a decent 2nd hand Traxxas Revo off eBay That hasn't got modified to the limit, or any mods at all, probably looked after. But handles like a dream without being overly top heavy like the 'older style' monster trucks made by pretty much everyone else. Progressive suspension rocks!! Yup I'm biased but £380 and it's worth every penny ..... to me Grrrrrr:-) .............. oh sorry IMHO btw
123456
The Revo is certainly a decent truck-and they have recently had a big reduction in their price.
