merlin has jus done up a revo.

The forum is'nt biased to what rc's people buy lol, the savage is a good and popular truck, jus happens alot of members own a savvy.

I know what u mean though, I got a menace 21 and theres only 3 of us on the forum who do, 1 memeber is a newbie the other is rarely here so most of the time it feels like i'm the only menace owner lol

i think there are a few guys on here with revo's, I am one of them.

BTW love the shell you have in your sig.

Ta very much took flippin' ages though, to paint.

My Revo's my 1st Brand new R/C after a few trade ups on eBay :D And Traxxas all the way cos if I break it ........ erm ... When I break it a quick phone call to Traxxas and it's on my doorstep next day :P:DB)

Grrrrr:-) Glad I'm not the only one:-)))

And to Mad Hatter> Always wanted a Menace 21 till I took a close look at one, loads of excellent reviews .... NO WAY can I drive well enough to drive somat that bonkers fast and that erm ... I'd say Fragile was my 1st word when I looked inside the shell. Wouldn't last more than the break in with my throttle finger, the it would go home in a dustpan. 70+ MPH???????? Fooooook!

Thank god the revo is so much stronger than it 1st appears, seems tougher than my freinds Savages. IMHO :D

Hello there

I also have a REVo, it's all done up to, just got some new parts for it the carbon fibre chassis and pipe, apart from a few other bits.

Nice shell on your truck so how long did it take you to paint it?

Your are not alone with the REVo on here!!! there is plenty of us! :D

How much for the c/f chassis, and where you find it??

It honestly is the quietest truck I've ever had, very quiet, unlike a savage which kills your eardrums :) Parts that break most...rod ends and arms. A set of RPM arms are 40 quid, but not really worth upgrading unless your going to be going tottaly mental, as they are quite tough to begin with, and rod ends cost about 2 quid for a pack of 8.

LOL, sorry no pun intended. Well RPM's would probably be worth it then. as I said, 40 quid for a full set, with a lifetime guarentee! I'll include a full set of standard arms if your nice :)

i really want a revo, my rush evo is crrrrrapp

is it loud??? if its vvvery loud my parents would kill me and which parts break most, cos i dont want to fork out £100 after i break it in.

ps mr tigger, how easy was it to do the stripes????

It is most certainly the least noisy of all the monster trucks out there. IN fact, it is sounds timid next to a Savage and LSt. The Savage is so loud!!

Tigger, if you've heard my collari savage go you'll know loud, a Revo is real quiet in comparision. Once I drive the Revo after the Savage, I always think the car has stalled, but its still going, you just can't hear it coz it's soo quiet.

Oh, and just incase you've heard a collari go, mine has a tsais rocket side pipe on it :) Get your revo, pull the pipe out of the coupler, and rev the engine hgihly, thats how loud my car is at idle :) Beleive me tigger, I don't even let it idle out in my garden when I need to burn a little fuel off. My mum just flips because it's so loud.

However I have some idea wot u mean, my m8's savvy has the Picco 26 with some custom pipe and drives me bonkers cos I can't tell if my handset is boned or the Revo has cut out

BUT he can't wheelie for toffee unless he's got the proper savvy pipe on HAHA!! As I always say :P Somat to do with being a high end pipe but the savvy stock one is better across low to mid range. Still can't handle for sh##e against the Mighty TiGGer stripped Revo though

Grrrr:-)
