Hey all, well muhaha seeing that i might buy your boat i might aswell ask the pros some questions. Can i use r/c car electronics inside a boat? i Have a tamiya TEU-101BK and a tamiya super stock TZ (23t) spare and i was wondering if i can just bolt them right in? or do i need to have proper boat electronics? if so any ideas on how much turns the stock ESC (sea rover 15amp) can take? Any info in hoping it up is useful

regards

just replied to your message. All car stuff works in it. I have no idea what a sea rover can take. You could try that 17t motor you got and see if it gets hot. You can get bigger props, a aircraft esc and 600 size motor make it wey faster apparenly (with 12v). Any higher its unstable  but i thinks its worth a try.

sorry to tell you but i totally K.O'ed you 17T motor mate, must have done something, and needed to replace brushes and stuff so i thought it would have been more cost effective to buy a new one, sorry.

But won't you think it would be too much stress for the an r/c car motor to move in water? or is it fine? i'm scared of damaging the motor (as it costs 40 quid)

you have PM btw
