dazzi220
1. How do I stop the exsessive stoppies wen using the duel disc? I second I apply the brake the truck goes up on its front wheels and topples over no matter how little i apply the breaks it happens. Its set loose as possible on the brake rod and I've loosend the pad as much as I can - still happening. 2. Had the truck out the other day, it was over heating big time due to the weather and lack of space but the odd thing was the dual disc was applying itself? It'd be fine one min but then the brakes would be applied but not by me! not fully jus enough to slow the truck down after stopping the truck it went back to normal after a few mins? heat??? 3. At a guess I reckon around 20-30 screws on my truck have lost there thread, its jus the screws that go into plastic parts (screws keep spinning instead of tightenin up). I'm wondering if anyone else has this prob? and what do you do without replacing all the parts effected? I'm using plumbers tape to hold them in but its a pain in the ass cos I have to put new tape on each screw wen I take the truck apart. momin
1: On you brake/throttle servo look at the brake linkage you will see a fuel tube. To stop you savage from pulling brakies (Thats the word used for pulling front flips whilst braking) replace that fuel tube with one that is about 23mm long. this stops all the stupid front flips. 2: Loosen the screws that hold the pads. There are two screws wich connect the metal bits and the pads to the transmission case just loosen them a tad bit. 3: Yea i have that prob aswell for the screws that hold the brake pads. they didnt even thread in and it ended up making my brake pads fall off . Just use superglue on the screws i do and it wors a treat. Hope this helps. Momin

Remove that and make suretaht the end is straight i not use a pair of pliairs to get it to look like square so taht gold nut perfectly fits in. 3: Use a hairdryer to warm it up and use a screwdriver to remove the screw its a bit like loctite. dazzi220
i think i know what u are talkin about you mean the silver pole and one end (thats in the tranny) has a bit cut out of it, well that fell out wen i was putting the disc on but i put it back properly i think, and there was no damage to it
waz
Right, only read firsat post but to stop stoppies just turn down the EPA on your remote. If your brake is dragging that is a likage problem, and if your thing have lost the thread try to use longer or very slightly thicker screws with a fatter thread. Thanks

Thanx Dazz ← 1.Loosen the bottom break screw (the one that you can accsess without taking it all apart) 2.Same as '1' 3.Yep you've overtightened the screws and churned all the insides out. You'll need to replalce all the broken parts and I would get some allen key aluminium threaded screws.
