adzee
Just wondered if anyone knew im going through glow plugs so quickly? I have a Savage 25 with the original HPI Engine. Im using HPI glow plugs (although i am using the ones for a 21 engine) but my model shop says they should work fine in a 25 engine. As an example I broke 2 in a matter of 2 hours! When you look at the damage it always breaks at the point where it joins onto the bottom. ie, in between the coil & the bit its joined too. Any Ideas ? 300ZXZ31
If it is still shiney and wet you have broken it because of running to rich. if it looks kind of burnt you are runnung to lean.
dazzi220
are you using a normal glow starter? leaving it on too long?
adzee
are you using a normal glow starter? leaving it on too long? ← Yes im using a normal glo starter & i use the rotostart to start it. The Plug does seem to look dry with slight blackness to it, you think it might be too lean? The performance of the car is great on the settings at the moment.
