Want to know what you would choose from the above and the criteria i am looking at! anyone got a second hand one of these then pm me! having looked and seen a t maxx running it is a good truck but is it getting on a bit? the bottom of the truck doesnt look particularly strong either? the top speed i was quite impressed with but the new savage 35 looks a quality truck! 25 rtr has already proven it is a good truck and is cheaper than the 35.

From looking round i found out the t maxx is the cheapest but is it any good?

The T-Maxx is very old, has a poor transmission, crap engine, is slow, hard to tune, and don't even get me started on the durability.

The savage 25 is better than the 3.5. It is the same truck esentially with a different engine. The 3.5 refers to 3.5CC, where as the 25 refers to CI which is .25.

Savage 25 4.1CC 0.25CI

Savage 3.5 3.5CC 0.21CI

the 3.5 is the latest but its just the 21, been redone and released with a few hopups, its only £300, hpi say 4.6 best,25 best rtr and 3.5 best value

I've never used a t maxx but seen plenty and they look poo, a guy in my lhs store hates working on em, and look what waz has jus said

Hey,

I'd like to give you a link where all the essential info is but I'm not allowed to post the link here so if you want it PM me.

Basically, the only essential things would be:

1) Failsafe, I never run any of my nitros without one.

2) Battery pack 6V (Hump configuration)

3) Better steering servo, I got a Hitec 645, 9.6KG of torque, metal geared and 20 quid!

Other than that, drive for a while and see what you need. You may want to get a better pipe for much better performance. A pipe such as the HPI ribbed pipe would aid in low end torque, whereas a dual chamber HPI polished pipe will help with top end, but any metal pipe will be an improvement over the composite pipe included.
