Monstrous
firstly IMO you should cut it out (some people cut it out after they paint it, its up to you really), i cut the bulk of the lexan off with curved scissors, then smooth it down with a sanding drum bit on my dremel. apply the window masks and make sure there are no air bubbles in them, then go round the edges of the masks with your nail or pen lid etc. then drill out the holes for your body posts, place the shell on your truck and use a permanent marker to mark the OUTSIDE of the shell, where the posts are (the marker wont show up once you remove the protective film) when you have made sure they are all sealed and your holes are drilled, start spraying a very light coat, this coat seals the edges of the masks, so no paint can leak under. the keep building up the layers applying more paint each time, after each coat use a hairdryer to dry the paint so it is touch dry, then go onto your next coat once you have finished spraying, leave it to dry for 24 hours before using it on your savage, while its drying you can apply the decals; remove the protective film that covers the shell, then cut around your decals and peel them off, then dip them in warm soapy water, this allows you to move the decal around while its on your shell, so you can get the position perfect, then ruub it with kitchen towel to remove all air bubbles and allow it to bond to the shell Monstrous Edited May 22, 2005 by Monstrous

Monstrous
stanley knife will take forever, and if you cant cut it with scissors, leave it until tomorrow and go to your LHS and buy some curved scissors, they make the job 50 times easier Monstrous

Monstrous
doesnt matter if you get it on the outside, it wont show up when you remove the overspray film, i would say as many coats as you can get from your can, hold it up to light and see how translucent it is Monstrous

Leopard
Heres a nice tip for the hard to do rounded parts on the shell, score it with a craft knife and then cut lines into it then you can bend the lexan and it will snap just where you have scored it guaranteed
