i have driven and watched LST's, savages, revos, tmaxx's in a bashing scenario, but not racing.

the savage and revo are still very good trucks (the tmaxx is NOT). but my vote is for the LST. im not voting because i own an LST, i own an LST for the same reason that im voting - most fun, big, handles best, speed, etc blah blah. although i have to give the others credit where due, savage is very good mainly because its so durable and the revo is certainly a great truck and im sure with the same driver may beat an LST.

The REVO can not compete with the LST around a track simply because on the straights it gets burned off and passing it is simple-you drive straight over it

Whats your reasons for the sav not being THAT good then nick? i personally like both trucks, but you can't deny that the savage is awesome, the LST may have more features, but lets face it, the hi/low thing, hmmm nice idea, but a bit **** really unless your doing crawling, which i think no-one here does, reverse - Personally i never use it, but can be a good thing, handling, spot on! Price Tag for all this - downpoint, its pricey! Its easier to work on that a sav too. But you have to spend quite a bit on top of that to get it anywere near as strong as a sav. Speed theres nothing in it, my lst couldn't beat my cousins 3 speed 4.6, although the collari soon changed that

For me it depends wether you wanna go bashing out of the box or not, if you do, no question a savage all the way, but most of all i think its down to personal preferance, like i said i like both trucks, but you gotta be realistic.

I do not in anyway think the savage is basic, the first savage model was released in 2002, with the few upgrades it has had since then i think its held its own extremely well, and to be one of the most popular trucks out there still now is a great acheivement, obviously the LST will have newer ffeatures as its still a relatively new truck, and lets face it, without trucks like the savage, the LST probably wouldn't be as good as it is.

I just think the LST & Revo are both better than the Savage series. That the Savage is mostly getting votes just because people own them.

It is all down to opinion really.

Looking at it makes me not want to sell it.......

it can be a pain in the ass to work on but now i am regretting selling it......

Look at those Arms made of plastic but look soo strong..... It may look ugly in the pics but in front of you it is just ace!

LST are soooooo weak...But for some reason i want one...I want to sell my savage and get a revo and LSt or a LSP but another part of me wants to keep it..

Sell it.

The LST is not weak.

I have only broke a Hub, and that was a result of being flat out, coming off the truck and hitting a metal pipe. That is all I have broken. Everything else has had over 3 gallons through it and it hasn't broken anything.
