they're tough as hell and the 3.5 does'nt have a lsn so tuning will be well sweet!, looks sweet and loads of hopups, truck heads will point out bad points but imo they're the best trucks on the market, and the price is not bad either.

the only bad point is if ya buy it from modelsport they give you a 'free' £20 voucher and the price of the truck is £320,but £300 everywhere else, so the its not free....go figure

If your looking for a good durable truck for bashing with this is the one to get, it won't eat drive trains like the bigger engines can do.

If you planning to use this on the track though you may consider something else, as the savage takes a lot of money to become a competative racer. <_<

unfortunatly your wrong, all hpi's engines and cars come with high and low end needles, can be clearly seen here

You may also want to read what yer lookin at:

The HPI Nitro Star 3.5 engine is now equipped with 2-needle composite carburettor. This redesigned engine, with two needles instead of three, makes it much easier for beginners to set up and tune. The new composite material makes the engine run smoother at all temperatures.

"INSTEAD OF 3", If you go on screamers theory that means savages have 4 needles

you have a cheek to call us dumbass's

but with an engine that size. it doesnt need a thick starter cord, as it wont snap because there isnt hardly as much compression in a 21 size engine than a 28.

i disagree, you try and pull my 21,its on its last legs and is still unbelevably tight. The stock cord did'nt last 2 mins and I eventually got a metal type wire fitted which snapped the other week. I'll be glad wen this engine dies cos its wreckin my arm!
