Stormbringer
very nice mate how does it compare sizewise to your xmaxx ?
Partydaz
Stuff for the UDR to rebuild the rear axle for summer and X maxx shock rebuild kits because if it's anything like it's little brother them shock pistons like to twist on bad back flip landings 😅, not that I've geared it up yet for that just you know incase 😁.

Good question, i haven’t run it yet, it seems very well put together and with it being lower slung will handle better, i like all the aluminium on it and it looks bigger next the xmaxx, i am hoping to give it a run this weekend, but i have stuff to do in the garden for the digger coming, so obviously that needs done first, but fingers crossed

Funny you say that, i got a notorious last year and its a bit 50/50 for me, but thats mostly down to me, its a stunt truck, thats what its good at, im not and i break stuff when i try, so blasting around a field doing jumps on grass banks its not the most stable, the kraton is the opposite to that as that is more what its designed for and thats what i mostly do, tbh i have always preferred the larger scale stuff, loved driving my 1/5 scale petrols then again the Xmaxx, so the 8s Kraton is big too…….. so hopefully

I had a used Rustler 4x4, and thought right Im going to get serious again. I splashed out on a Kraton 6S EXB, as it was allegedly the best basher out there at the time. I had to start again with a new charger, lipo’s, electronics etc and it wasnt far off a grand all in. It was rubbish. I wasn’t impressed with the quality out of the box. There was play everywhere. I also seemed to break it everytime I ran it. I was so gutted and disappointed with it. My friend sympathetically bought it off me, genuinely because I think he felt for me because Id spent all my cash on it. I used the money to buy an X Maxx (again, my 5th Xmaxx 😅) which I shoudve bought in the first placeand never looked back. I dont even think he has used it haha. I dont get it though. People seemed to have a great experience with the Kraton 6S EXB, but mine seemed to be a dud. It would break doing such mundane things, that Id expect a Chinese knock off RC to survive, yet people seemed to be able to give them absolute hell and they survive. Mine would genuinely break parts driving in a straight line in my cul de sac. Seriously.
Lone-wolf
Nothing rc for me and nothing rc related for the foreseeable as the rc hobby is kinda on hold trying to thin out the models but as always nothing is selling, though i do have a buyer for 3 of my rc planes, just waiting for him to collect

Few lads get round the spot I go and bring Kratons plus a big ramp with them and just hammer them to death, full throttle launches on grass ,wheelies for days I've seen them crash from a fair old height on one wheel a few times and it's fine. One of them even landed that hard his lipos decided to vacate the truck 😆. I'll give it to them though they do know how to stunt them and land mostly, very cool to watch 😃. I do a few jumps and I am happy I landed them even back flips I'll do a few then think nah that's enough I can hear my diffs crying for mercy because I let go far too late on the trigger 🙈, doing that kinda of stuff with your RC even though they can take it must up the amount of maintenance on them and wear on parts buts that's how they play 🙂.

I have a widemaxx truck and i really think these are just awesome, they seem to be pretty much indestructible and so much fun, i do think its maybe even hardier than the xmaxx, i went to a pump track with this and the Notorious, i broke it with bad landings but the Maxx just kept on going

When I got my first one it had a noise floor so high I thought it was faulty. So I got another. Same thing. I bought the Kia not long ago and have had countless people say they've got dodgy engines. I'm 1200 miles in on mine now and it hasn't missed a beat.

Partydaz
XT90 connectors and lipos for the X Maxx plus some velcro one wrap, I found a bit in a spares bin at work and I find it that blooming handy I got some for myself 😃. CNHL money off code I found that works if anyone is ordering any off them soon, 15%off 😉: CNHLSAVE15 Lipos are a lovely fit in the X Maxx little bit lighter than the traxxas 6700mah ones I've been using, happy with how it handles so trying keep it as light as possible and keep up the 30min plus run times I am getting, also they fit in the UDR so double winner 🙂 Edited April 14 by Partydaz

SXFoxstar
Got these Ali Express knockoff Hoons. Feel like good quality, not sure I’ll use the rims as not the strongest but going to get them glued and put on my Maverick Quantum R asap.

SXFoxstar
@bunnie I’ll let you know how I get on. They seem better than the stock as much harder but time will tell. Not sure I’ll be able to properly test for a week or two but will report back.
SXFoxstar
Well I got the wheels on tonight. They were quite a bit larger than the stock wheels but after jacking the rear shell supports up and trimming a bit off of the front wheel arch they look pretty good now.
