I'm not sure when I'll get around to running it as a need a battery for it and really could do with getting a new charger so might be a good few weeks yet though hopefully by then the weather might have improved. I've just been slowly putting it together. It has an extended TVP. Savage 25 front and rear bulkheads/diffs. 25 arms and shocks. an Nosram Evo Monster .28 engine. 3 speed transmission with reverse unit. Slipperclutch delete kit. cheap hump pack. some random servos that came with it. but work perfectly fine. (i still need a third one for the reverse) rotostart. Everything is second hand on this beast apart from the bodyshell which is the bestlooking (imo) GT3 style in Tamiya Pure Orange. It's all together now and starting but i need to tune the low and high end needles next. they're richended right out and i'll just take them in an 8th at a time starting on the low needle locking the throttle to no more than 20%. Wish me luck guys. The gf is gonna kill me!! Partydaz Posted February 27 Share Posted February 27 Going give the Carisma sca-1e coyote a bit of love after the front diff blew up last Saturday, after two years guess I should check everything and swap what's needed. The lipo battery connector you got pictured (top middle) I got a few of them, I would recommend double check the soldering job on them as the ones I had come undone real fast. I just unsoldered them and put some thick gauge wire to join them together. I could wiggle a few and feel the solder joints coming loose! Using them as adapters for battery chargers they have been fine, but once I started to use them in RC cars they started to come loose inside 😅.
