If someone made me an offer for everything (37 models) and came to collect they could have everything from my NIB 90s Tamiya’s to my XRT/Xmaxx’s. But hey. As with everything a bit of a story. Im in my 30s, but me and my Dad still share an eBay account. He buys and sells a lot, I buy and sell a lot. When he is selling lots, I just turn notifications off and ignore the app. Honestly. We had a little family holiday a week or so ago, and I had some down time. I flicked on eBay, made an offer on something and closed the app and that was that. That was the 17th July. Fast forward to today. We popped (I say Pop, its 40 miles) over to see my parents. When I got there, my Dad said your parcels here…… cue my girlfriends face giving me a dirty look. Genuinely no idea. Turned out my offer had been accepted, used some paypal funds that were in my account and the whole thing was paid for, posted and delivered GENUINELY with no knowledge from me. EBay must auto pay offers now? Anyway. Its a dusty humble M-01 Mini. Its missing a bumper, which Ill never ever get I know but I hate having a NIB without a shelfer so this will do. Not bad for 30 years old!! it came with Arrma Electronics installed, which Im going to sell. The original Acoms and MSC is included too so Ill refit that It looked like it had some parts missing but it was all there Even better was the original bumper WAS included it was just broken. Simple glue fix and this will look fine for the shelf. I was over the moon with this! With my NIB It also came with this ABC Hobby Mini Pick Up shell. If I can sell this and the Arrma electronics ill be WELL UNDER £100 for a very acceptable shelfer M-01. bunnie Posted July 31 Share Posted July 31 Order all the bits I needed plus a few more to get my all car back on road that got broken on the last outing but after waiting around 2 weeks I hadn't heard anything (I won't name the shop) i called them and they couldn't stop apologising as they changed their ordering system and it's totally messed things up. So this is officially the last episode of: What Did The Postie Delivery To @SimplyChunk Because It's Too Damn Expensive To Ship To Canada! (Season 2) So since I have 3 cars now, and the newest one is another kit to build during our holiday, we had to get a couple finishing bits for it. For my TT-02 Chassis I got: Tamiya GT Tuned Motor, Tamiya Rally Dish Wheels, BMW E30 Bodyshell from LandL Models, and the same tyres that Simplychunk had posted about the other week, man I've been really behind on my uploads. Starting with the Tamiya GT Tuned Motor: It has serviceable brushes apparently 😮 The Tamiya Rally Dish Wheels: Or um... spare parts as its lovingly calling itself, also ignore the price tag on it, I was charged 11.99 for them, fraudsters! The LandL Model, BMW E30 Bodyshell. The colour scheme for it is going to be Plain White. Since there is so many decals with it, we decided that it would be a great starting place for me to get the hang of painting bodyshells. The tyres: These weren't listed to have inserts, but I've been told we will gladly use them. The haul all together, look at that beauty: And the greatest picture of all, the one that really shows how out of hand this is getting. My entire haul that is waiting for me September 1st. The only thing that isn't mine in that picture is the fridge (obviously) and the little orange DT-03. I can't believe that's actually it now. I know I said that last time (hehe Season 3 anyone?), but we have finally got everything that we need to build our cars in September. I'm super excited. I can't believe that I'm going to be in the UK again in less than a month now.
