Popular Post Kpowell911
So despite having a great little model shop less than 2 miles from my house, Ive been working so late this week (well travelling, the jobs not too bad just the 140 miles a day). I needed some PS4 for my 959. So I ordered online. We all know the 40th/45th Anniversary Porsche 934s are the incorrect wheelbase. Matthew made some custom carbon chassis plates to correct this. As soon as I saw them, I ordered. Theyre beautiful. Theyre perfect. However, their beautifulness really made the Tamiya FRP Shock Towers look pathetic. So Matthew ( @Wystan Withers on Tamiya Club) created some in Carbon Fibre to match my chassis plates. Only issue was Im in the UK, Matthew is in the US and he was concerned postage would be too much. For me the cost wasnt an issue. The product quality meant price was irrelevant. We agreed on a $20 postage cost and I happily paid. Now get this. I then received an email saying Id be refunded $17.20 of the $20 postage. Then imagine my surprise when they turn up 6 days later….. Popular Post bunnie
Picked up another near enough new carnage for the kids and misses. They all want to get involved so I've kept it simple. A nice uniform fleet that cheap to fix and they can all paint their own shell. Once they all really get into the hobby I'll upgrade them all to faster mid to top end cars

Popular Post SimplyChunk
Some new tyres for the TT-02. This is before opening them and performing the all important sniff test.. They included some foams too. This wasn't in the description on Amazon. They're nice and soft and have an interesting thread pattern on them. They smell wonderful 😄 So I've just got two more things to buy for my TT-02 before the September build comes 😄 Donor Frame buggy that I bought for a tenner on eBay came too. It's got all the bits that are broken on the 'good' one I have for it's restoration. Edited July 18, 2024 by SimplyChunk
