What Did The Postie Bring @SimplyChunk So He Can Hide My Dead Body In September!

 

We ended up getting two new servos for our September build. In the end Simplychunk wanted to be safer than sorry, and he ordered them just in case the other ones were too strong for our cars. (It's easier to up it then possibly bend something and having to down it - Simplychunks words). 

 

The new servos that we got are: Surpass Hobby S0600M Digital Metal Geared (I heard that's a good game) Servos. 

 

 

This is unfortunately the last episode in this series. We now have to wait until September before we can post our final results. It cannot come any sooner. 

I'm super excited for this new hobby, its just a shame I have to wait so long, but I get to do it with the person I love ❤️ (unless he forgets our anniversary again 🤣).

 

Thank you everyone for your suggestions and inputs while we were gathering our bits for it. We both appreciate it all 😄

The 19th and the 7th are two completely different days first of all Mister. And you did forget our one year anniversary almost two years ago 😛

Whilst addictively searching for the Castrol Supra GT on the TA02W Chassis, part number 58170, this one always came up annoyingly when I searched “Tamiya Supra” across all the usual auction houses. I never considered it, or knew much about it. I did however know its “value” or at least what people were paying for it. However since I did eventually get hold of the Castrol Supra #58170, which for me is the best looking touring car Tamiya ever made, Id stopped seeing this….. however, one popped up NIB for considerably less than I saw them selling for at the start of the year, which confirms my feelings the “vintage” market is dropping which isnt a bad thing unless youre selling up….

 

Here it is Tamiya Blitz Supra GrN. #58137 It might actually be my oldest Tamiya Touring car, released in May 1994.  Or maybe one of my Cosworths is.

 

 

Not bad for 30 years old. Tamiya’s box art from back in the day is amazing!

Not mine but my son. I originally wanted one but ended up getting another model as it was out of stock at the time. I do love the look of it.  Gonna have to get the others and complete the range 😁

For 12 quid it's very good. A little thin in places, but I've already chopped it a bit for one of my lcg rigs, so light is good. 

You can get a dodge power wagon cab for the same money.
