Welcome back to another episode of:

What Did The Postie Bring @SimplyChunk For My RC Car Build In September . 

 

Today my transmitter, ESC, Servo and 'The Frog' rereleased decals all came in. 

I have been told by simplychunk that the Servo is overkill for my little Neo Fighter, but its cheap and quick so that's why we went with it.

And the bit I'm most excited about.

I have all these ideas flooding through my brain, but unfortunately I still have to wait until September, and that cannot come quick enough. 

Hopefully soon I'll start to understand all the terminology that comes with everything, its just a lot to learn for this Smooth Brain of mine.

that should be the indoor helicopters sorted and maybe for my back garden 👍👍😜😜

 

Unless I missed one. Would have like a 120s smart but think I may need a newer tx than my dx6i 🤔🤔

There's an fpv kit for my radiolink rc8x it's about £40. So I can fpv one of my crawlers, truggy or whatever you want.

After an email to say parcel arrived followed by a search an seek mission i now have a second HotRC DS4-a TX and 3 more RX`s, i am moving over to this radio for nearly all my rc cars, i struggle with left handed radio`s due to an old accident so this makes a lot of sense for me. These radio`s might look a tiny bit cheap but i have been using one for over a year and not missed a beat, good range and so comfy to use

Sorry I meant what equipment do you use specifically. So your kit can only be used with that specific radio?

@TommyC The fpv kit I mentioned is for a Radiolink rc8x only. 

There's a youtube channel I think it's called adhdrc or something similar. 

They state the full fpv setups and other options.

What Did The Postie Bring @SimplyChunk and Not Me Because I Don't Live In The UK.

 

Today we received: 2 sets of 1150 ball bearings, two sets Tamiya standard insertion dudes, flesh colour paint, and ~drumroll please~ some cheap modeling brushes!

These episodes are almost at the end. 

We are still waiting for: 6 Tamiya PS Paints, 6 X and XF Tamiya Paints, 2 2s Lipo 5600 milliamp, a 5mm bullet to XT60 with 2s balance, a set of makeup & blusher brushes so we can slapchop.

We are expecting these to come within the next week, once they are in these episodes will sadly have to come to an end until September when we do the actual build.

She asked me what a pinion was the other night.  I told her it was a belief or thought someone has formed in something..

 

and my 'pinion is that Steel gears > Aluminium ones

On Todays Episode We Will Be Receiving: 6 x X/XF Paints, Simplychunks 1060 Hobbywing ESC, Simplychunks JX6221 MG Servo, some 3M Masking Vinyl in 2mm and 8mm flavours, and:

Something from Simplychunks own personal collection: some Nuln Oil! 

 

Starting off todays episode, we have the 6 x X/XF Paints. 

 

For my paints we have:

XF-2 Flat White, X-14 Sky Blue and X-17 Ponk Pink

 

For Simplychunks paint we have:

XF-1 Flat Black, X-6 Orange and X-11 Chrome Silver

 

Continuing on the same note, from Simplychunks personal collection, we have some Nuln Oil! (ooooo, aaaahhh). 

 

And we received some special flavours of 2mm and 8mm 3M Masking Vinyl:

To finish off this lovely episode, we have Simplychunks JX6221 MG Servo:

 

We still have quite a bit of stuff coming, so there is at least going to be another 2-3 episodes of this (maybe we will hit 10 episodes I hope not).
